Good news folks, I'm actually alive, well, and still kicking!
AND SO. Monday I was a lazy poke and refused to wake up to go swim. So, I ran in the evening 9.2km and I met the chicken rice uncle again, running this time. He smiled and nodded to me haa!
Tuesday morning I dragged myself down to Kallang pool. It was a rather crowded day! Pretty eventful. While swimming my very first lap, I banged head-on into some old lady. Oops! She was swimming breadth. (Asking for it in my opinion) So I had quite a sore head. Some lifeguards-to-be were having their test half way through my swim. So it was pretty funny to watch. How some pretended to drown and they had to do funny actions and shout some things (which I couldn't catch) before they jumped in to save them. At 11am there was also the NASSA Silver award test so many kids were milling around preparing in their PJs already haha.
Well, was very tired and lethargic and so I didn't do my 100m sprints. Swam only 3km. Seriously, I was crawling! Well, when I came up, this old lifeguard talked to me saying 'your freestyle very good! Each lap all less than one minute! very good!' I gave him a weak smile. Like ha-ha + polite smile, as though less than 1 min is such a great achievement. Then he asked me who I learned under and I was telling him like more than 10 years ago, and I only know him as uncle leong haha! at toa payoh pool. But since he's a rather old fellow, he should know all the old ppl. But I was thinking, it's none of him tt taught me to swim like that. It's paysc. He ended off saying 'only thing you lack power'.
Hmmmmmm. Everybody says that about me when they watch me swim. Okay true I was like crawling that day. But how can you tell if a person is using strength or not?! Maybe when sis comes NIE and she can swim with me and tell me!
I like to cycle back :)
So I was a little lazy and tired, and if not for leewei and our plan to meet to run in the evening, I bet I wouldn't have gone to run. So 9.2km it was again in the evening. I guess running with company does make life less boring, and the distance fly relatively faster. Except that with the talking you're more out of breath. So, we actually talked all the way.
Wednesday, I headed to ntu to swim sets. I must say, I was rather proud of yesterday's sets! I finished my 16 sprints in the end! Although some sets the timing was horrible. But I was rather rather tired after it all. And was just enjoying the peace and silence (when you're covered under water) by resting my head on my hands, with pu buoy so you float. Then it started to pour. Thank goodness for the clouds during half of my swim, and the pouring AFTER I finished!
I met sis in the end at boon lay! Haha. Yay she's coming with me to hall 15! WHEE.
By the time I came home and marked tuition stuffs, it was time to head to tj. I reached 20mins late for our dinner date but was still the second earliest! Yesterday had only ttk mj neem pam n me. I have a new stand partner which I'm NOT gonna share stand with ever again. All thanks to some spastic drawings, which gave me the tickles and I ended up not being able to play that entire part when we were suppose to play louder! I think everyone wanted to kill me cuz I kept laughing and couldn't stop! Serious! IT'S TERRIBLE! oookokokok. I'll be serious from next prac onwards. I am NOT sharing stand with him anymore! But it's been sometime since a prac was filled with so much nonsense. Although haha must be serious larh! He said something very true though, that this sort of things makes band pracs fun. THAT's what I missed so much when congzhi and victor left :(

Okay, see the word Solo ad lib. Well, it's suppose to be a solo which I refuse to play cuz I don't like this sort of things. So he said this solo too hard already. And so during yest's prac, no time to ad lib a solo yet so turned out it was like each bar one long note. LOL. Like what kind of solo is this! People throw eggs uh!

And at L the last line, the rest of the band was playing on the first beat of every bar. And the conductor was going so fast. He was beating in 1 as well. So we were like struggling with all the notes. And he had to turn around and say: eh u all very easy larh we have so many notes.
But like HELLooo, HE was playing on the first beat of every bar too!! Like what the..... *whack!* haa..... cow. But I know I need these sort of stand partners, cuz I'm too soft :(
Anw, reached home past midnight and I was so tired! This morning went down to pandan valley for one make up lesson. And took 156 to Bishan on the way back.
Well well well............. Guess what. I was waiting for 13 at j8's bus stop, when at around 1+pm, I saw this cool cyclist zoom by on a bike. I think, I trust my gut feeling and that less than a split second of realization at what exactly just happened. Only thing, I wonder why at this weird timing!
Sigh.
So I'm suppose to go for a 12+km run with leewei later. I hope I don't faint.
