Sigh I hate insects. I'm terrified of them. How I wish my sister is here. There is a cockroach right here in the room. It looks exactly like the one that has been hovering around the kitchen but was not killed the other day. I might not scream (recalls days in hall haha) but I'm still as terrified and I how I wish there is a Lee Wei across from me to come over with his insect catching container to make us girls feel better. It's in here too
! Why oh why wasn't it killed or removed the other day when there was a man in the house. Maybe I should start screaming. I mean who would want a screaming girl. Perhaps he attempts to get rid of it will be more persistent and full hearted. Boohoo :'( I don't even dare to sleep :( at least it isn't flying. Why can't the cats be of use for once and kill it :(
Honestly, I will never keep a cat!
You have to spend money to buy food and cat litter.
Feed them.
They drop fur.
Changing kitty litter and picking their poop.
Plus they are so ungrateful.
I mean, like the big black cat, just terrifies me everyday with his meowing and always catching my legs with his teeth.
I hate him!
Maybe I wouldn't mind a kitty if it turns out to be like the cute meow meow....
But still, I could do without cats in my life.
LIFE ISN'T!
Krystian Zimmerman is coming to Singapore, performing on the 5 of January 2013, and I wouldn't be around to watch the concert :(
Currently, discovering the wonders of Schubert with
Awesome opening for the remaining 3 numbers of the opus
Visited Pei Tong Carehut for the first time on Thursday! The children are okay but they make me happy! Brings back lots of memories about Eunos though :) What's nice is that it's stressed to give respect to the volunteers so they're really nice. Also, disciplined is emphasised there and they know they have to do their homework. When they ask for your help it's because they genuinely want to learn how to finish their homework and not tuition where I'm trying to teach some reluctant kid or something.
The two girls were playing badminton during play time and I asked if they were on the school team. Apparantly so! "How you know?" they asked. Teehee. I wonder how the kids at Eunos turned out - Nurul and the others.
Tummy still hurts though!
And I declare Arnott's chocolate Scotch Fingers to be the yummiest biscuits ever!
Big dreams.
Dream big dreams.
I have mine, what's yours?
So, what's up folks!
Life's been pretty exciting :)
THE LIST has almost been all ticked off - pending the official acceptance which should be any day now I'm hoping. I could do with fewer sleepless nights; checking emails with excitement in bed in the middle of the night due to the time difference.
Happy, like a bird! Tweet tweet!
Haven't felt this randomly chirpy in a while now..
I guess when it's all rainy outside, and you're home indoors all nice and showered (although I did get caught in the rain - thank goodness for umbrellas), life feels awesome!
I find it rather ticklish-funny that everyone in the house is currently at some stage of flu/cough. I must say I was rather touched when Dad (in-law) mentioned to me that I seem better today with less of a runny nose -- I mean in contrast to my own father who doesn't even notice/cares/bothers when I'm sick with funny voice and all --> recalls some long ago ranting i-feel-so-hurt blog post ha-ha-ha-ha.
I DID NOT WIN THE F&N CAMERA IN THE END :(
AND THEN THE MILK WORKERS HAVE TO GO ON STRIKE WHEN THE CEREAL GOES ON SALE AT NTUC SO I CANT EAT THE CEREAL BECAUSE THERE'S NO MILK :(
Yes, I feel rather aunty knowing prices of household stuffs and when things are on sale or not!
But it's good :) I feel, rather domesticated! And domestication is never a bad thing because it's good to know, in this case, ignorance is not bliss.
I'm rather sick of the jigsaw and I intend to make the missing pieces in (cereal box) cardboard form and paint them IF they are missing - hope they aren't of course! Do cats eat jigsaw pieces?
My new books are here! I hope there are enough wrapping paper for all of them! They are my lifelong books, i.e., I'm going to take a lifetime to learn them.....
Presenting to you, Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas and George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue for Piano Solo. I must say listening to Gershwin's Rhapsody in piano version has brought my opinion of the piano up a few levels. Who knew how awesomely a piano can bring to life all sounds from an orchestra!
Black white black white black white, more black than white.
I can't wait to start learning in Canada although secretly I think I'm going to be terribly home-sick (or rather Wennie-sick) and that I may "die". I mean 60 to 70 hours every week! I don't even hit that at EY! (Or did I?)
Here're two happy pictures to leave everyone with!
HAPPY 10-MONTHS OF BEING MARRIED! :)
