1) Today's 640 west ride was really much MUCH slower! Something happened and some voices were raised, some boiling blood, some unhappy faces. Hey guys, let's ride friendly! Joyride yes? :)
2) And so they announced to stick together till LCK, free for all. It was pretty fun! At LCK, I was somewhere in the middle inside when some ppl took off. I was hoping the ppl in front of me will move off too! But! They didn't. So I tried to get out on the right and the "uncle" (I'm sorry but they all ARE uncles!) spoke to me encouraging me to GO! hehe. So off we all went! Free for all so it was veryy haphazard. I was mostly on my own, going big gear at 43km/hr with a littleeee tailwind. It felt good, So I was pleased :)
3) Keppel flyover attempt #2! It's as windy as before. But it didn't feel as long as before! And since today's ppl were slower, so yeah, I SURVIVED hehehhee :) :) :)
4) Today, the girl who always rides, she spoke to me. And I found out she's Stacey. And turns out, her sister is my bro's section leader from church or something and she of course knows the sis too. And so yeah haha.
5) The uncle had a conversation with me. And I introduced him to Passione, because it was coincidentally at the bike shop junction! "You're not bad! On the national team?" "No??!?! That's my sister...." "Your turn soon?" "hahhaha...... no la...... farrrrr away. I just ride, for fun :)" But such random ppl talking to me always makes me feel encouraged :) Although yes they're uhh slow uncles (and since I'm so slow I can only ride with other fellow slow-ies!) But still I do appreciate such little conversations :)
6) Rode back to hall afterward. Cars NOT friendly AT ALL!
7) Screeched to a stop in front of the hall gate, and clicked to check my mileage. Cateye reported: 100.00. Wow so to the dot!
And, this is for the Jambion:
ALL THE BEST FOR LANGKAWI! :)
Some pics from Waikiki that I like!
It's not that I'm paranoid about cheeks.... BUT........... hmmmm use your eyes and compare? hhahhahaha.....
Yes, milo van........ I drank SIX! No regrets... it was awesome hehe
All our faces look kinda funny!
Now, why am I always caught posing...... I'm not a poser :( :( :(
1) I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE that there was a clarinet in Jiwen's house!
2) I've got NEW SHOES! Thanks to Jiwen and courtesy of Specialized! I feel so blessed, to always get everything I ever need, from the sister, and this time, from Jw. Thank YOUs!
3) I've got my first wedding invitation!!! From Jiwen's sis!! I feel, so honoured, that I'm invited!!
4) It's recess week!
5) I can't wait for NEXT SATURDAY! Hehehehe
Today was SMU Bi, first little race to start off the season!
A morning, of sea, sand, and sun
Are YOU willing to do so?
This is what happens when you can't find inherent risks in the case study................
I like the video! But the out-of-tune xylo at the end kinda hurts the ears hehe
This is a happy version! :)
I took a pic this morning of the clouds! The weather in the morning has been real nice these days! On Friday, riding back from Passione, it was dark and cloudy and the setting sun caused the skies to turn this ominous orange-y and if it wasn't for me rushing to get back before it rains (on my CLEAN BIKE) I would've stopped to snap!
Doesn't it remind you of Winnie the Pooh clouds? :)

Was TOTALLY ignored this morning in the pool.
So then I went over to J.P. to get the framing thing done and I currently feel very stupid and like that:
To add insult to injury, it occurred in broad daylight also! 200% of what I normally get it done for? Hmmmmmmm. If not for it being so urgent and for the convenience, I would've brought my business ELSEWHERE! I should have 1) Insisted it get done by Thursday 2) Bargained for cheaper!
Never going there again!
Don't know what was wrong with me sighhhhh.
I am so tired I didn't even finish this morning's programme but at least I swam >4km so I'm okay with that. (Oh I so love the clouds and they love me tooooo hehe -- NO SUN!) I am so tired I couldn't even muster the energy to give a smile to Feroz when I met him at Hall 8 bus stop!
Okay, I'm hoping it doesnt rain later because I want to WASH MY FILTHY BIKE and get the retarded gears to be less retarded before the weekend's rides!
Here's a song for everyone!

Oh, not good not good :(
On a happier note, coincidentally I met Rod driving into Hall 15's canteen carpark just as I finished my run! So joined him, Desmond and TXR at the canteen. Later, Shawn, WeiShing and................. guess who..................... AMANDA! came too! What a pleasant surprise!
So I had a watermelon! And de-gassed 100plus while getting entertained by the TV and the crap. Amanda (aka ba zhang) + Wei Shing is already bad enough. Add the newer generation of TXR as well as the latest addition of Shawn Lai, hehehhehe :) Nothing like good company! :)
Today feels like one of those days, long ago :)
Happy! :)
It's pretty quiet around hall today cuz of girl's hockey semis and the vday function!
I REALLY AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WHEN THE ROOMIE WILL BE STAYING OVER!
And, there's no school tmr!
But a million things to do, so........
Let's get cracking!
Training, school, training, school, training, school, training.
This, is the summary of my past 2 days.
Squinting in the pool due to UV reflections makes me sleeeepyyyyyy......
I hope you guys are having a good day, because mine hasn't been too good!
A million thoughts running through the head caused the drifting in and out of sleep from 11 till 1+am! Sleep wasn't too good with the body trying its best to generate some heat in the cold. And then the beep of the alarm appeared in my dreams and I refused to wake up.
Lack of sleep after a hard day? Not good! Off to school for aa304, brain saturation. Then to the pool we go for my longest mileage EVER. Back to hall to bathe and only got to eat lunch at 2pm. Boy................... J'ai tres faim! French for the next hour and a half.
The weather has been really good for the past weeks, especially during my swims! If not I'd have been close to having skin cancer by now, AND also turning into a permanent chocolate hello panda. Rainy rain rain today! BUT the sun is out smiling, shining in its full glory now, and I'm postponing the run to much later. It's HOT!
Vaseline for abrasions? Try........ SUNBLOCK! Oh yes, it worked hehe :) I could swim in peace!
Training these days have been more fun, because of interesting and different programmes! I like! Something new to try everytime! And oh, I asked Michel (Mr. National Swimmer) to stroke-correct me yesterday! Hehe :)
And yesterday, I got to fully understand the wise words of the Jambion "If you went on, it's a good mental excercise, but physically you are just wasting your own time. And then you end up more tired the next day. So training isn't so great the next day either...... You dig yourself a hole that takes 1 day, it's going to take you 10 to get out!"
(I copied paste bytheway)
So I decided enough was enough, 5.5hrs in a day is no joke. Hopefully, the unintentional carbo-loading of the day before was ALL BURNT!
As such, with the unfinished intervals, fartlek beckons......
Long days ahead oh yeah.........
Nothing much to look forward to but, A LOT OF THINGS TO DO!
PLEASE!
Time is crawling by too slowly :(
Time for a long run to clear the head
I miss band.
I miss playing my clarinet.
:(
Guess who?

I Like!

Thank YOU :)
I wanted to blog yesterday about the morning ride. Okay, yes I did but never got around to finishing and posting it. So backtrack a little to........
Mr Macho Winds!
Did I mention how much I detest riding out from Hall 15 at 5.25am? C-O-L-D! For once I was thankful for having a bag to carry. A little warmth, better than none! The sis pulled against the strong headwinds at Pandan Reservoir AND the monster hills at NUS (they are to me!) didnt feel THAT bad this week. Despite the little break at Sheares Hall, I still reached Longhouse early!
It was a pretty small group. MUCH neater riding this week. The guys weren't exactly good riders. The winds were pretty cold and strong! Sengkang headwinds. This girl (whom I blogged about on last sunday's ride) pulled! Tsk tsk guys uhhh! Hehe. Okay, I'm equally bad cuz I was just hiding again.
It was pretty okay most of the way so I thought of going harder at coastal! I think everyone was preparing to as well. The first signs of pain was at the Downtown East traffic light. I thought I'd check it out when I reach home.
Then, at the stretch just before hitting coastal, I was on the outer side. Suddenly, this SHARPPPPPP pain in my right knee left me stunned. I tried to go on, OUCH. So I left-legged wheeled for a few seconds and touched the pain area, BAD MISTAKE. The touch caused suCH sharp pain. The gap to the person in front of me grew and I tried and tried to pedal but it was SOooooooo pain I really couldn't take it so I swung out and heaved a BIGggggg sigh as the group got further and further :( :(
But it was so pain, just moving downwards was OUCHHHHhh :(
So I wheeled to the pavement at the traffic light, and emergency called the sis who didn't pick up! Being stranded at the furthest end from home (coastal!) I was NOT INTENDING to cab at all. So I decided to one-legged pedal. Initially even with the right leg going along for the ride (just so to balance the left) it HURT. But after some time it got better. But when I started to use even a littleeee force from the right, it protested.
So, one legged cycling it was, along coastal! Thank goodness for FULL TAILWINDS. Such that amazingly even with a left leg only, I was going 26-30! Imagine! I was sooooo thankful to be even moving along coastal!
With suggestions from the sis, I stopped for an attempted massage at the start of ECP. Which actually didnt help in the end.
So I just one-leggedly crawled home. Later, the right could pedal for <5s. At least better than nothing.
I was sooooo sad the ride went just like that! :(
Home, with the sis giving a long massage which left me writhing in PAIN! I was soooooooooo sweaty after that..... BUT I'm thankful I get free massages hehehe
Okay, while bathing just now, my pain threshold level increased five fold. It was a grit-your-teeth-and-endure-so-that-if-you-fall-into-longkangs-again-next-time-and-you-have-gaping-wounds-it-won't-be-pain-at-all kinda thing.
Screw the raw skin.
On a happier note, it's time to RIDE AWAY THE FATS tmr morning with the sister! :)
Thinking about how the Jambion went "Yes!" this morning, makes the smile just MAGNIFY! Hehe :)
Which also turns out to be the first day of CNY this year.
AND also my REST DAY!
It wasn't meant to be, but it also turned out to be EATING ALOT OF JUNK DAY.
Oh NOOOoooooooooooooo
After one day of "visiting", I'm so glad such things don't exist anymore! So, I spent the entire morning, wasting time away, at the Grandma's house. I don't like CNY for all the fake-ness just to get angpaos, all the sitting there, eating, watching random tv shows which seems to repeat EVERY year.
And so anyway, thanks to the sis for lending me the iPhone. I read the 30day excerpt of the Love Dare inside instead! And found many quotes I LIKE. In view of Valentine's Day, let's share this and feel the LOVE hehe :) BUT gotta take this in view of married couples!
1) Love is FUN (hehehhe silly walk?)
2) Love causes GROWTH (refine and strengthen each other)
3) Love is BEST when God is first
4) Love is MOST when God is first
5) Love builds brdiges between lonely hearts to make you close companions for life
6) Patience is where love meets wisdom
7) When your spouse deserves your love the least, that is when they need it the most (this touches the heart in all the most sensitive places!)
8) The Lord knew before you were born that you would one day marry your mate
(I LIKE THIS ONE A LOT)
9) Marriage is one of our main instructors on how love is supposed to be given and received. It teaches us how to defer to another, giving ourselves completely without reservation.
I LIKE.
Tomorrow will find me crawling at the reservoir in an attempt #2 to find that plastic! :) Although I've already read the duplicate (it's most favourite! More so than the orange rose bytheway!) still, I wanna find it hehe :)
And do you knows what's the best way to eat chocolates?
Let it MELT in your mouth!
Ahhhhhhhh :)
:) :) :) :) :)
The 4hrs in class I was really thinking about everything else BUT what's going on in class! And Marilyn's attempts to find juicy gossips just to make 311 more interesting.
"Aunty, the hot dog bun has no hot dog because the tag reads Mayo Hot Dog"
Then lunch because stomach growled. And then reached the pool, read a bit of the book, took a short nap, while waiting for food to settle (and sun to go away!) And then it was time to hit the waters!
Weather was perfect! Oh clouds oh clouds, how I love you so much :)
Had an interesting programme to do today. I chose the shortest one but it still is WAY LONGER than my usual mileage! For the first time I did fartlek in the waters! With the paddles! Hmmmm, somehow it's really hard to accelerate after the slow, compared to running.
Ohoh! I can't wait for the track to be done! It looks soooo nice! I miss having all the activity at the track in the evenings. And emo-ing at the tracks on a lazy afternoon!
The kicking was longer than usual but after going past my norm, it actually got better and easier! And as always the warm down makes me feel how battered my body is.
I did the 3x400m not knowing what to expect. The first set gave me a terribly good surprise! The second one was amazing. And the third I was just trying to maintain and not die. Because I was so encouraged by how things turned out, I went on to actually COMPLETE THE PROGRAMME! On not-so-bad timings! I'm getting quite used to the "Let's-swim-till-your-arms-break" feeling, which is GOOD.
And so, this has been a good ending to a great week! Looking forward MUCH to the weekend, and SUNDAY because it's REST DAY and I'm gonna SLEEP IN! Woooohoooooo :)
AND this is gonna be my last CNY as a student.
Before I hit the working world :(
A most hAPPY NIGHT!
Oh, the sMILE is big big big big BIG! :) :) :)
Why does my body feel like it's been through war and back?
And so yesterday was one exciting/busy day with cycling, french, preparing the letter and sending it off! No time to take a breather at all till night!
Training was cool with Michel, Mr. Netherlands National Swimmer, who does 50m free in 23s+. Is that mad or mad? No wonder everyone was talking about him. His drills were pretty simple, yet establishing the high elbow point which sis made me do sometime ago. So it was really good to start off doing those drills. Especially since I havent hit the waters for quite some days.
It made the subsequent main set much much easier!
Except for the bees part! They said it's bee season. (There were about 20-30 bees on Monday apparently!) I say it's cuz of the new swimming pool lights! Just a few days ago, I saw it during my afternoon swim and the thought that flies might come cuz it was so low. ANYWAY, we've had situations of bee stingings! So freaky!
And so, I found out that I seem to be able to spot bees much easier than others! Like, I SEE THEM in the middle of the pool! ANd the rest will be like "where where?" I think it's honed in me, since the days of swimming with so many of them flies way back in p6!
Mr TXR had bLUEBERRY PIE this week! But............. since he loves it, all will go into his tummy and none for me :( Hehe. But I think I prefer APPLIE pie :)
TODAY, in the morning, I read JonMa's note on facebook. And so, I decided to try out their training programme for the lack of having another one to do. It was long, and so I cut my warm up to only 300m when usually it's 800m. The weather was perfect though! Cloudy all the way!
So, I swam till I thought my arms were gonna drop! Like, seriously. AND the worse thing is, I didn't even finish the sets! The last one I changed to drills instead. So I did a combi of what Michel made us do which I felt was good for me. And some TI, to get the water feel. Total mileage of >4km so I'm pretty happy.
It's way more than what I usually do. Especially that like 85% was main sets/intervals. The thought that the sis is out there doing ride #2 of the day, and the Jambion out there making the wheels going round and round, kept me a little more sane. JonMa's note about how when you reach a certain point, fighter or a quitter? You know, I think I know it, that I'll quit. I think I have it in me to keep going, to make me be above-average. But when it comes to the make or break point, I'm quite sure I'll break. And that's the difference between a National athelete / being a Jambion!
But I'm just doing it for love. Come what may, I'll just enjoy :) Anything else, is a bonus!
Hmmm. Now why does this sound so familiar? I guess it's the same concept, applicable to sports too! Hmmmmm......
It struck me during warm up, about how I used to say to others, the secret to floating in the pool is to be one with the water. Make friends with the water! (ANd Pingwei will look at me like I'm mad) But to me, it really IS that way. And then, I was wondering why the part about sending the bees love in the Secret Life of Bees book sounds so familiar.. Hmmmmmmm.... Food for thought.
Okay, off to nap!
Here's a little friend for everyone to say hi to!
With every word, it got to work.
And at the end of the afternoon, oh.........
Now, that makes two of us with 102 pieces each, all over the place.
Jigsaw time when you're back okay? :)
What a drizzly rainy day.
Ride was REALLY SLOW going there and back.
I've no idea why I just don't seem to be moving!
And it drizzly-rained on me coming back at LCK.
I'm FOREVER thankful for the tailwind.
I am very sleepy.
a Pronoun?
A noun that lost its amateur status.
Read this comic strip in the papers some time back (Click to enlarge!)
Universal Studios, JAPAN
The hair has been chopped! I haven't had such short hair since.............. JC days! The return of the bob for a ponytail!
Short hair~
1) Less weight to run around with
2) Uses less shampoo
3) Wash hair faster
4) Hair dries faster!
I have found a hairdresser that I actually like! Despite the Chinese conversations hehe!
And so I attempted to tinker around with some html to sort out the overlapping of the title words. DONE!
Monday, went like this:
"Can you run longer? 1 half hours...."
Ouch, the leggies.
I ran, and ran, and ran, till the sun set!
BUT it was good, really!
Tuesday was not as bad.
BUT full wind socks aimed straight at you on lck is NO JOKE.
I sailed. And sailed. And sailed.
This truck went by in full force, and I reALLY flew.
Let's go down on the drops!
Just keep spinning, spinning, spinning.
And still barely keeping the high 20s+ speed.
Thank goodness the strong winds translated into a nice tailwind on the way back.
I saw 5 doggies today. SO many!
The legs protested BADLY at running of hills.
Fruits feast.
I met KSW and XY for lunch. Pepper lunch! For the first time! Well, since I was early by half hr, and they were late by half hour, I had a total of 1hr to loiter around IMM and believe it anot, I spent the whole time IN THE JIGSAW SHOP. Learning about a lot of things hehe. I asked soooo much!
TWO MORE WEEKS.
Oh I so cant wait!!!!! :)

Into?
That's what I'd like to know too hehe :)
And so, a grand total of 6hrs on the bike this weekend! You are proud of me? I was hoping you would be! :)
6.40am these days at Longhouse. I almost got dropped at the long climb at the start of Mandai. Stopped at Shell. Got a little dropped at the start of Neo Tiew. You know that gentle uphill part. It's SOooo easy to get dropped. Because they go FAST, slow, FAST, slow. So I happily am spinning with a nice rhythm when suddenly WOAH brakkkeeeee.. Then, as suddenly, it goes, VROOOOMmmmmmm and then, I can't accelerate :( So frustrating!
Thank goodness I was near the front for some climbs cuz at least I can still hang on! But it somehow seems more tiring to be nearer the front than back. It shouldnt be much of a difference no? Can't figure out why. At least I managed to hang on for MOST of lck. At lck, the only other girl dropped behind, I think to head off elsewhere? So I was the only one left. At the bus stop after lck, I asked them where are they heading to. And they all laughed cuz I was a little clueless and all :(
Westcoast was okay. Except that I was behind this angmoh who alternated between spinning for 2s, coasting for 2s. Gave me so many unexpected heart attacks whenever he coasts. So irritating! I hope nobody finds me an irritating cyclist! I'm like wearing the Passione jersey and trying my VERY BEST to ride as good as possible! BUT I still think I'm quite hazardous altho I try VERY hard not to! But still, sometimes, too retarded already!
Oh yes, then I noticed how they slow down BEFORE a hill, then on the hill, ATTACK! Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. AT LEAST they climbed the big flyover slowlyyyyyy.
Oh! Last last Wed on my mini ride, I suddenly looked right for no apparent reason, and I SAW CADBURY! SO.... there it is! There's the fish smells at the first flyover. Yuck. And then, the area the sis says is Pandan Loop! Which smells of BAO! :) Bread in the making so she says. And there's this area which smells very spicy-ish, some herbs or spices or something. Don't quite like!
Then, KEPPEL FLYOVER.
My goodness me!
It was my first time up that. Well, it wasn't hard to get up, but Keppel is SOOOOOooooooooo LONG! And the speed was pretty consistently hard. I got dropped at the very very very end! I did try my best but suddenly everyone was going ahead and somehow I wasn't moving as fast! Consolation being many were behind me further behind hehe.
Then it was Mr Winds and me. Oh boy. It was WINDYYYYY. It's like you're so high up there. Cross winds! Sailing sailing! Speed went down down down. It's really freaky riding up there ALONE you know! Vehicles so fast moving! Dangerous!
Thank goodness for the traffic lights. I caught the main group. I was trying to recall my way when riding with the sis through there a looonnnnggg time ago. So it was a slow easy ride through CBD.
Till suddenly, the whole pack split, left and right! So sudden. Later I figured it was Amoy Street. Breakfast place! BUT I took the other turn. And then the small pack split n split. Ppl going home I guess! Some wrong turns left me aLONE! LOST in town haha. BUT FRET NOT! I'm getting quite good at this. Wandered a little before coming to Raffles Place. AH-ha! I remember riding this place with the sis! So....... Esplanade then Nicoll Highway!
The winds weren't friendly at all.......... I was crawwwwlllliiiinnnnggggggggggg
And crawled all the way back home.
The end.
Oh. I happily skipped all trainings this week, ending with skipping my first race of the year! Surf and sweat haha. Okay, 1) I was too lazy to go down to Sentosa 2) I've NO idea what to expect, how to surf, what to bring, etc..... 3) They gave me 2 reporting timings in the list, one at 10am the other at 2pm. I only signed up for ONE event? And I emailed but they didnt reply! I was so fedup I decided not to go 4) I got my thing yesterday. It's a SIGN! Haha. So of course I'm not entering the waters
Oh and the sis found out yesterday JR DID go west, to avoid Air show at Changi apparently. Funny thing was, it wasn't even crowded at all when I went by!
Alright! Back to hall!
Sunset spot Sunrise spot
Howdy my friends! It's a brand new day with a BADLY aching butt and legs which crumbled when I attempted to run down the stairs!
I woke up at 4.30am. That's after sleeping at 10pm, and waking up at 2, then 3, then 4, then beepbeep! The sister's blanket is really powerful. You can sleep through ANYTHING with that! The fan was on (power 2) to dry the jersey and tights, and the aircon was on at full fan power! Aircon is necessary so that the air outside will be relatively warmer and I'll be able to ride without freezing!
BUT I still froze anyway. Cold cold cold! I hate the stretch coming out from my hall! Really cold! But riding at that time is the only time I can zoom down and do the left turn without braking!
Thanks to the sis for the ride back to Thomson! I'm so amazed how she can cycle so fast really! So steady steady against all the strong wind and I just hide behind hehe.
Had a 15mins break till 6.40am. I spent the time looking at the different bikes ppl had! It was very confusing today. Joyce wasn't around. So anyway I set off a little behind the main fast group of 5-6 ppl? Most of the ppl were still behind. So it was like stragglers in between. So I was spinning. Then they didnt turn into Lower Pierce. Hmmmmmm. I thought maybe the group in front wanted to go west. So anyway I went straight too.
And stopped at the right turn to YCK. Waited to see if others will go by. The main pack went by, straight. HMMMMMM. Where IS everybody going to?!?! Then I waited a little more. Somebody came by and was saying JR going straight today but still heading to Changi. So...... OKAY! I joined the next small group passing by with 2 angmohs leading the way. They seemed like pretty strong riders so it should be fine! So we caught up with another small group in front. (Very slow)
Then, the whole group turned left to Lower Seletar. Except the 2 leading angmohs. They were like unsure to go straight or turn with the group. They remained, the rest turned, I turned. And cuz they were ALL so slow, I overtook the whole line of straggly stragglers, and saw in front, everybody turn left into Mandai.
OKAY! That was it. NO WAY am I going back to the West thank you! So............. I took a right turn onto Mandai, via the way Jiwen and the sis brought me on my bday ride, say, TWO MONTHS ago! SO...... I just spinned my entire way on my own! Hoping I wouldn't get lost. Well, I thought Singapore's rather small. And if I headed in that general direction, I'd probably end up somewhere familiar! Worse come to worse I can always go-stun. Or, ask ppl or something.
So I just headed straight straight straight straight, thinking how nice the sky actually is! and then...................
WOW!
At the Idunnowhich body of water, (Seletar isit?) I caught the MOST AMAZING SUNRISE! Okay, the sky doesn't just get bright. The sun DOES rise! It was so lovely. I actually STOPPED to take a pic. But the hp didnt capture it nicely. What a wonderful day! Blue skies, WISPY clouds, reddish-orange sun turning the few pieces of clouds around it most amazingly lovely! Ahhhhhhhhh...... It was the EXACT moment when the sun was RISING above the treetops. My my my :) :) :) :) There you go! Sunrise spot :)
The sun will come out, tomorrowwwww :) :)
So I continued on, spinning spinning spinning! It wasn't WINDY windy windy like my failed attempt to ride that day. So I was happy and I seem to take the right turns cuz it looks familiar from that 2 months ago!
It was all going fine, UNTIL............... I saw the sign Jalan Kayu, Sengkang etc... Okay this looks like SK! TURN! Then.......... Uh oh....... This IS Sengkang....... but..................
I kid you not (hehe) I went for a Tour de Sengkang. I'm pretty sure I cycled the ENTIRE round. Punggol Rd, Punggol Rd, get me to Punggol! Then, suddenly I appeared at Punggol, and the signs went Punggol Dr, Punggol this Punggol that. And I recalled the other time I got lost here. So..... TO THE MRT! Punggol Central! And from there, followed JR route! Yayyyyy.
I TRIED to look at the road signs from there on, so if next time I got lost, I can get there instead of going by Punggol MRT. BUT, all I saw were..... more of the same. Punggol this and that, Sengkang East Ave (which I saw a lot while going round in Sengkang) So I gave up. I took the short cut to Tampines. It was almost 2hrs then and I was thinking of heading home via NEL. BUT decided to go on! Pretty lovely day.
Old Tampines Road. It's like, after the cars are done with using the roads, they become cycling roads! Old Choa Chu Kang Road. Old Lim Chu Kang Road..... etc...
I had a pretty good ride I must say! All the way till the double climb with the left turn! Almost caught up with this pair. Then they zoomed off. Thanks to the traffic light at Changi Village (I like that one a lot) I really DID catch up and stayed behind all the way. Thank goodness mann. Didn't fancy doing Coastal alone! So I big-geared and cruised along that stretch. It was pretty relaxing!
At ECP it was back to spinning. And I rode inside! I like yay. I crossed the road nicely at Nicoll Highway area! And the Aljunied Macpherson Senett stretch was surprisingly short today!
Home sweet home. After 4hrs out, but 3half hrs riding time according to the cateye. 99.38km. But I do believe I did 100! Cuz it doesn't work at times!
Now the legs are really bad. And the trigger ball's in school! Hmmmmmm
Sleeeeppppyyyyyyyyyy
And so, I decided, I'll never take the dark chocolate from the chocolate box again.
I am very sorry :(
:)
I'm currently feeling a little on the negative side!
Why is there this unspoken heaviness buried among everything else :(
I am so amazed.
I thought I was smiling a lot.
How could u tell?
I didn't know I could be read so easily.
And I just HAD to ask
jocelyn says:
leewei!
why isit raining!!! sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
{LEE}sMUrfFrOG: i just wanna disappear for awhile... says:
erm, cos there's too much water vapour in the clouds?
Rain rain rain rain rain.
Well, at least the swim was good.
It's all in the mind really!
But ppl who swim without goggles should really just GET OUT OF THE POOL.
I just get so irritated when training gets disrupted.
In a way I'm kinda glad this is dragging on.
Gives me time to think,
and to sort out my thoughts.
Mental self-talk!
1) After class I went to J.P. for a free meal at Fish and Co. The best fish and chips in town they say! It was......... YUMMMMMM :) Thank you Jiwen! :)
2) Successfully bought all necessary supplies from J.P. and NUH
3) Had a ride back from dad and got MORE supplies from home! So the fridge is stocked full again and I am HAPPY! Milk grapes apples oranges OOOOoooo
4) I got a iPhone! Hmmmmm
5) Rode a short ride to Kranji and back. It was STRONG STRONG very strong headwind on the way back! No wonder it was so easy going there. BUt the legs felt strong tho. The cateye has started to go on strike again. I wonder why :( Tried to do transition but only managed to run one round. Funny how when I was going out it was fire-drill and they were saying through the loud-hailer "run, don't walk". Yes sir! I am running!
6) Dinner! Watched finish Cool Runnings and currently on The Ultimate Gift. I should stop watching shows! Study, I will!
7) The toilet sensor is spoilt AGAIN. So I called them again but this time they couldnt repair it! So downstairs it is till tmr.
8) I have a stuffy nose. Do you?
9) There is so much laundry everyday!
10) Okay. Now, I was gonna go for my ride, and was looking around for my dark lenses. I KNOW I brought them back with me that day! I know it I know it! BUT I couldn't find it anywhere and with time ticking by (I wanted to swim after also see) I decided to borrow the sis' Oakleys. Oooooh they were so clear! Nice!
So anyway, I know I reallyyyy brought them back but WHERE. So I was taking off my jersey to change into running attire. When. I. Felt. It. In. My. Pocket.
Oh
Wow
It went through the wash
And didn't shatter!
Smith shades!
Not bad!
And the lenses seem very clean now though!
Hehehhee
11) GUESS WHO IS COMING BACK IN THREE WEEKS!
Time to start BOUNCING AROUND! :)
I stayed up to watch finish American Flyers. Oh boy, was it SO GOOD! Not too sure if how the show depicts it is how it is REALLY like during a race! Maybe the Jambion might care to enlighten me! BUT, boy, was it a good show!
Hey all you guys out there, you can find the movie on youtube! Check it out! :)
Now, where is the muffin man? :)
The reason I wasn't too keen on swimming IH was cuz I had to go home and teach and I wanted to cycle and all. And Marcus and all were joking that I gotta spend the day with someone. On hearing he's in Thailand it turned to "webcam all day?"
And so, on Sunday, when Pam saw me she was saying "I thought you had to cycle and webcam?" That's when I realise, HEY I had already done all that since waking up at 6am! Well, I felt pretty accomplished!
CHEERIOS MY FRIENDS because I got to webcam today!
Don't you just wish time doesn't move then.
Today's French class was really fun! We learnt numbers up to, uh, EVERYTHING! Complicated oh yes! :) But we had a lot of fun doing the "let me ask you" game! And so time flew by! :)
And because it's another 5 weeks later before I can see the muffin man again, I was feeling a little down and so I got myself a choc muffin to accompany me on my walk to the highest peak in the west to pay my bills!
Diet? Who was talking about a diet?
I came back to finish up "I am Sam"
It made me tear :(
But a really nice show.........
And because the stomach is churning (are churning stomachs contagious?) I gave tonight's training a miss. And will sit here till bedtime at 10pm no later!
Have a GREAT week ahead folks! Sorry for the lack of more exciting vocab!
I am happy!
Now, did I mention I feel like the most fortunate girl on this earth? :)
