Haha okay, it's more fun than scary. Wheeeeee. Sis won OSIM Tri for elite u23. HAHA. Her name is in today's papers! Here's to a nice week ahead!

SATURDAY. We all almost died after prac, which ended at TEN THIRTY PM! Thank goodness for the van n my bro.
Well, it was a day which changed my impressions of some ppl which I find I tend to put them on some sort of pedastal, not their fault of course. But that's what happens. And thus sometimes, I feel some apprenhension when little kids look up to me like that too, cuz I know how easily by just some random word/action, their whole impression can crumble irreversibly. Three ppl in a day! That's too many for my liking.
Enter, into my world of music. (Where you spend umchio-ing to urself!)
Pracs r pretty fun these days tho :)
The ppl around u count for alot, including ppl who help u take ur lunchbox reeds from far away! yay my roomie is the best hhaa.
Well, as for practise wise, I dunno. Just thinking, how I can NEVER practise around others. And this goes all the way back to sec sch, where impressions just count so much. I can't seem to let ppl hear me sounding disgusting. So I like to play at home, where I can stumble on the running notes as much as I want to, and sound as thin as I want to. Does it really matter so much what's done on the outside?
Why does the american graf solo in the recording sound so nice! Each crotchet note sounds so relaxed, laid back, and has such a nice little vibrato which isn't so obvious which makes the whole thing sound like it has a life of it's own!
now, HOW TO SOUND LIKE THAT!
I feel like I've just been to another world and back. That's what reading does to you :) Except that I wouldn't say this book is the best although I finished reading it at one go, for two reasons, 1) it FELT like I was reading fiction from the first sentences 2) somehow you already knew the role this character played in the whole story when she described him so the climax was no climax at all.
Apart from that, Saturdays are turning into more nightmares than Sundays! Here's how it will be tmr: 10-11 Hannah and Adel, 11-12 quick lunch bite 12-130, tuition for a new kid 2 blocks away. 215-415 Yilin at tpy. 5-645 chuch at PL. Then off to tj for fourth symphony's running notes.
A good week of rest I guess if you wish to put it this way :)
Blumbering big bag of lazy bones.
Looks like it's NOT meant to be. Apprently sis was a little sick on Wednesday, there goes our mizuno spending. REALLYyyyy seems like we'll never spend it haha!
WEDNESDAY! 16th of july. NEEM's bday! So we had pretty fun times. Pics r uploaded onto facebook. Too lazy here. Although I spent like the whole day out and was half dead. Woke up early but gave swimming a miss. Headed to library instead followed by marina square where I waited an eternity such that I actually fell asleep!
Met pam n mj to shop around for awhile n then neem came along n we ate at thai express. My first meal for the day --> breakfast lunch n dinner. Bought donuts at jco! Band was pretty much better cuz tim was taking! Somehow fingers always tend to pangseh during combine :(
After band we had cake to eat! and donuts! And sat luther's car which I super believe everytime he does that his car tyres BURN! haa. Gave macs a miss. And I was so tired I slept for full 11 hours!
I haven't been exercising.
I'm like a fat blob of lazybones.
What kind of determination is thAT! :(
Aye.
SCHOOL'S STARTING SOON!
SUNDAY. Met some interesting person with hM and found out how some places on a Sunday night are so quiet! Ate at this cool Korean restaurant near Tanjong Pagar. Makes you REALLY feel like a korean!
MONDAY. I ran my fastest ever 9.2km. Nope, I wasn't chasing anybody. I just started at a faster pace, not my usual crawling pace. Plus I was trying to beat the rain. Currently that route's timing ranges between 55.05 to 1hr 1.13! 6mins difference haa.
TUESDAY. Swam at tpy with leewei. A super slack one! Bad day to swim cuz they were cleaning the smaller pool, so the big pool was rather crowded. The water was MURKY. Ewwww. But the white tiles of the floor makes the pool seem deceptively clean. I drowned.
A little nostalgia. It was at tHAT same pool where I improved the most I must say. And it's been sometime since I was there.
Subsequently cycled home and was informed by leewei that I can get fined for endangering others when cycling on pavements. (!!!) Met him at somerset station for lunch and then did quite some shopping! The search for a black gown ended with me being convinced that I'll just wear what the guys are wearing. Leewei agreed that girls might look cool in pants (I'd rather cool than elegant!) but more masculine. Hmmm. Do I look like I care? Haha.
Did quite alot of walking around. (one WHOLE afternoon!) And I bought a nice random top! First piece of clothing I bought this year? Currently have a $500 mizuno voucher which will be spent today! (YAY!) A $40 Robinsons/John Little/Marks and Spencer voucher which mom said she wants. And got a $50 Giordano voucher yest. Welcome, to the world of free stuffs!
We headed to Gelare at PS since it was a tuesday. I declare, half a waffle, is JUST NICE. Next up! It's Manhatten Fish Market some day, and that all Japan restaurant Leewei gotta find again somewhere in Chinatown!
Perfect day to swim since kallang pool is not swimming in cedar girls. But I dunno. I can't bring myself to go. Aye. Let today be a day of rest. To do my TAWG earnestly. To do some shopping! And to meet theloves --> tjband frens :)
WHEE.
Saturday was FUN! Band was okay. Except that we had some cam-whoring, since we were all in white tops! :) Love.
Caught unaware
Just us!

After band ended, we hung around for like one half hours! Thank God for my brother and the van. Free transport home meant I could chill around in peace! Nice!
Yo ho, all together.
Word of the day: CHILLY!
Yesterday I went for sis' convo and there was this guy by the name of Teo Eu Gene. How funny!
School's gonna start soon!
4km of pulling didn't do anything much to me, just a sense of a little satisfaction plus the conviction I need new paddles!
JULY! The month filled with so many memories of special days :) Our first concert, 18th july! :) Forever special. There's band fiesta too, syf opening, tarde de la! A pretty special month :)
This weekend, it's the clash of my two worlds. It's 2nd NBC and OSIM Tri!
BUT I'll be sitting in a room in pandan valley for 8 half hours instead.
Thank goodness I didn't drown as much as I thought I would on wed. And it's been pretty fine thus far except for the slow timings :( Before setting off for my 200m sets the thing tt runs thru my mind most is "okay, don't drown don't drown"
ONE week more of home time.
ONE week more of more interesting moving in time.
ONE week more of FOC.
Then it's hectic school.
With hectic timetable.
And seriously, I'll be glad when exam period actually rolls around.
Because out of 20AUs, I only have 3 papers!
So, you can imagine, term time is gonna be C-R-A-Z-Y!
I dunno why my butt hurts. Maybe that day I stretch too much.
ANYWAY I hope my lazy bones have been mashed to bits and replaced by hardworking bones.
Today I ran 9.2km. Sadly, I was TERRIBLY out of shape. You know it when your calves are irritatingly tight and it took like half hour for it to be warmed up. I went there in okay time but ran very fast on the way back. Reason being, I was chasing a guy. HAHA. Yes serious. I've this thing about tall guys in tri tops who zoom by me. (haha!) Apparently, he zoomed by me at the traffic light, but speed kinda slowed down after awhile. So I paced. And managed to close the gap. But apparently my footsteps arent very soft. So after some turning around, he upp-ed his pace and in like 1.5k, he was ahead by 200m! And disappeared.
I was overtaken by an old man today. I almost died when I thought after he turned and ran up this giant hill and was coming down again he'll be ahead of me even after that detour! BUT thank goodness he didn't come down.
OKAY. Time to sleep early.
Hope I don't drown tmr. Hope I get the indexes I want! (marilyn too!)
I think I've decided what to do about that, the piano-ing.
HELP I AM GROWING FAT AND LUMPY!
I've been SLACKING :(
Once you start slacking, it's kinda hard to stop :(
Ever since over the tiring weekend, I spent monday sleeping and sleeping. So that makes it exercise-less for a long time. And I seriously couldn't drag myself up to swim this morning. AYE.
So I've been spending the days screwing and practising. Yes, screwing those screws using the screwdriver. I made 4 chairs! Bought from IKEA, setup by miss carpenter chan here. It's pretty fun I must say! I think I'm like a pendulum, swinging between music and sports. I can't stick to one, I can't give up one. Hopeless uh haa.
I found out last week that
A is for apple!
After so long, I didn't even know that!
I don't really know all.
B is for bangkok
C is for china
D is for denmark
E is for england

N is for norway
O is for ??

the rest really can't remember. Anybody knows can always tell me okay!
I think I might end up taking that music elective at NIE! :) But that means 830-1130 (ab228a), 1130-230 (music elective), 230-630 (ac213!!) straight of lessons! Followed by training immediately at SRC. I think I'll die on wednesdays or something. Plus the venus is like S4, NIE, S3........... hmmmm. But I'm really keen to take it! And dunno what other electives to take this sem either since everything else I wanna take seems to clash!
Oh, anybody interested to play piano accompaniment for me? Purpose is exam during March next year.
Been a pretty slack week cuz I couldn't swim. When I return to the pool on Monday it's gonna be one and a half weeks! HELP. So this week only consisted of 2 runs and a stretchcords exercise which left me with a super humongous bruise. But thanks to my roomie's violent rubbings tt day during wed's prac, it's kinda faded now.
One sonata per week will enable me to finish all in 4half months! Means by the end of the year! Wahahha.
Everything's kinda pointless now, running, swimming, piano. Well, at least I can say I finished learning a sonata which is LTCL standard. I wanna have lessons, I wanna take exam, I wanna have sundays free to join competitions (but I still want my income eh haha) I wanna train under a coach! I realise I need someone to shout "GO" at me.
School's starting in one month! I've decided what electives to take for the rest of the time in NTU! Quite exciting! :)
