It's amazing the stories I could tell!
Hence no worries right? I will be able to find work when I'm back right? To cover up the more than $50,000 spent on this trip here right?
I do hope this is the second last of countdowns.
One thing I'm learning from this trip is that - I WILL NEVER EVER LIVE APART FROM WENNIE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because it's impossible to!
That's why we got married no?
Two weeks of school have come and gone. Fast? NO IT'S CRAWLING BY!
You know how it seems that growing up, every year seems to go by faster and faster?
When I came here last September, it seems that every year that has flown by joined forces to create the SLOWEST CRAWLING TIME EVER.
May be partly due to the way of life here which of course isn't like Singapore's hectic BUSY way.
But it's 99.99% Wennie.
School is getting very painful.
Like literally - headache (from being sick the whole of last week), feet and back ache (from tuning uprights), hand ache (from stabbing myself with the screwdriver hahaha), bum ache (from sitting on the stool doing key levelling)
I'm trying to recall things I don't like about Singapore because when I think of home now, it just seems like a nice warm sunny happy island! THINK: Muggy? I honestly can't remember how it feels like!!!!
Rainy? Possibly.... And snow is ALWAYS better than rain! No umbrellas required!
Pushy rude people? Crowds everywhere (for example Clementi mall)?
Ok being here is really pretty nice.
It's just that the missing piece which is 99.99% my life, is not here with me :(
I MISS WENNIE
Twas the first day back at school.
But it felt like we had never left - long days ahead.
The best news of the day was that I discovered the shortest day is 21st December 2012, with 9 hours of daytime. From then on the days have been growing longer! The sun rises at 7.55am now and sets at 5.06pm.
THE SUN WILL BE RISING EARLIER AND SETTING LATER EVERYDAY ONWARDS!
WOOHOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I hate the dark part.
And so, I'm a happy girl! :)
It's the new year!
And people are slowly coming back to school!
Lots to look forward to! New partners; evaluation from last semester; new grand pianos; concert; field trips; convention; spring (I know it's still a long way.....); end of school!
Today I had a pretty decent time in school.
And I saw a group of deer running across the snow covered soccer pitch.
IMAGINE!
I am off my bike for the next 2 months at least - bike in shed.
Oddly enough, I enjoy walking a lot more in this current weather, cold and with snow all over!
I guess for a couple of reasons - it looks pretty impossible to cycle so there's no other faster way to get around; also don't sweat; it's not that cold if you're covered properly; I'm concentrating too hard watching the ground I'm walking on (slippery and snowy) that I don't notice the distance.
It's pretty nice living in Canada.
And I think I'm slowly getting influenced into the slower pace of life - not squeezing every minute out of the day, rushing from place to place, hence enjoying walks more!
I think I'd be 100% happy if Wennie was here with me though.
Like when I used to walk back from school late at night after singing class, star gazing and enjoying the cool air, I'd always wish Wennie was with me especially then. But that was satisfied on that one day when we did just that! :)
Wish I could get that internship hey :) But definitely wouldn't wanna live downtown.
Anyway, I was just thinking about how sis n bro have done almost everything before me except for these 3 things which all coincidentally start with "m" -
Married, marathon, motorbike
Ok that started because I was thinking about BBDC again, all the i-hope-i-don't-die times when I did the S and crank course and U turns. UGHHHHHHHhhhhhhh nightmares.......................
HERE'S TO THE NEW YEAR AHEAD! :)
I ended up selling her but I must say, I really kinda miss that little cutesy pie
