That basically summarises today's swim training!
Mind you, that's after intervals on the trainer where I TRIED to go all out!
But I'm pretty pleased with the 4x100 swim going on 1.40 and the 8x50 going on 50-45. Touch and go, but still!
I ate early lunch at 11am today and so I really wanted to eat/chomp on stuffs! But walking around Raffles Place didn't yield anything. Came home and checked the MRT bakery and Broadway, nothing. Wanted to get a doughnut from Shangri-la but guess what, the doughnut tray wasn't there, FOR ONCE! So, wanted to get tau sa pia from downstairs but while walking home realised it's Monday, they don't open! Came home to eat aussie grapes and USA orange instead. Alighted at mei zhen xiang bus stop just cuz I wanted to try get the bao or egg tart from the small shop there. Guess what. CLOSED! I gave up and went to training with a nutella bread in my tummy.
At least I had yummy teriyaki chicken subway for dinner! :) AND a tamagoh sushi! Now I know, no chillies, pickles, olives!
And shared half a mini tub of BJ's choc fudge with sis and ate the whole vanilla walking home before I even reached the traffic light! Either 1) I ate very fast 2) It's really far away 3) I walked really slowly.
I am a little excited. Sister's leaving tmr, and I'm taking the same flight the very next day!
Ooooh new pics on Jiwen's team webbie! :)
I think my abilities to spot Jiwen in a whole pack of cyclists has increased rather significantly hehe
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE MONSTERLY POWERFUL SISTER!
You see, ice cream is not THAT bad hehe
Enough already.
I just want 6 June to come.
I just want all these to be over.
I just want to see Jiwen again.
:(
Heydiho folks! Today's ride only lasted 12km! How pathetic is that! Retarded flat see. If not, I was enjoying them wheels!
Transition was learnt under the void deck, with 5km under an hr going around the Blk 142 crit. And with only 1 retarded fall! I had 3 options, 1) Just do the turn! 2) Take out my foot 3) Unclip my shoe. Indecisivenss resulted in a topple at the door of the police station. Oops!
Now, come on! Updates on the race please!
I still miss Jiwen :(
But OH! His team's webbie is REALLY cool! Check out the gallery! Teehee!
<3

Thanks to Dan for lending me his Zipp 303, so I had cheater wheels this morning! Rode with sis to NUS and then to Passione to ride with the boys. Seeing doom and gloom in my mind already. But the wheels are soooooo nice to ride in! Teehee! But even with them, and the boys going slower, and getting sis and ah huat's pushing help, I was just bareeeeeely keeping up! That's how lousy I am :(
Pit stop at ah huat's house to change wheel for junrong and we saw a most lovely of loveliest rainbows! So pretty! Arching over the entire sky! Makes you wanna find the end and the pot of gold! Blue sky, nice white clouds, and the rainbow :)
Thank goodness I wore the old tri shoes! Rainy rainy! For the first time I felt it was really cold when we started off from his house again. I had fun and am thankful to the sister and ah huat for pushing and Dan for the ultimate cool wheels!
But I've more abrasions :( Hmmmmmm....
Oh, changed body wash to Dove, Beauty Moisture. So, I smell pretty dovey now!
Heading out to try the wet suit in a bit. Sigh. Don't like pulling all those rubber.
Waiting for the race to end! GO JIWEN! :)
Oh, I've taken to banging away on my piano again! I miss it so! And currently figuring out a repertoire for a mini recital for Jiwen! Hehe. Currently it consists of one of Mozart's sonata. (the entire thing!) and perhaps a Chopin waltz and Schubert's Impromptus op. 90! I like it so much! Not just no. 3 mind you! And of course, the hidden agenda of boring him with classical such that he'll never ask me to play for him again. Hehehehe.
Sister will be off one day before me! Now, why don't they book same flight!! Hahahaha...
NO!
I've been sleeping at like 9+ and waking up at 7+. If you do the math, it's 10hrs of sleep. PLUS afternoon naps of 1-2hrs? Alot of sleep? Yes! I'm storing the sleep come Spain in case the body goes haywire, at least I've something to fall back on.
And so, I've been feeling a little better after the down of the past few days. And of course I got to see my boyfriend after so many days! And naked Korean boys? NOOO!
On a side note, Josh Jonma and Lemin are flooding my inbox currently! Wet suit swimming in the Singapore waters on a Saturday morning.
Today's swim was really nice. Perhaps I had an unintended warm up before that that's why. Had to shift the van from the Mosque to the church and cuz I didn't hear the sis saying about the locking thingy, I brought the new key along and attempted to open the door resulted in the alarm going off! Tried all means and ways and combis (even starting the engine) to no avail. So I had to ride back on the flat MTB wheels to get the switch. Okay, a lot of eyes were on me. The noise! After which, had to ride out from the church, and cuz of the road diversions all over, I had some really dangerous road cutting please-don't-run-me-over ride to the pool! As you can imagine, even on such a nice peaceful cloody morning, I was dripping sweat.
Surprisingly, the 4x400m was beautifully done on negative timings! I was a much happier girl afterward! I think the recent frequent drownings at NUS actually did some work. Really awesome cloody morning! Which turned into a horribly sunny and HOT afternoon! I went to sleep for most of it. And attempted to find blister plaster. Where one seems to cost me about $1!
So, on it went, and off I ran. Awesome weather despite the HEADWINDS in one direction. Nice to see the familiar faces. But the loops were done positively! :( All thanks to "Hall X Runner". But the stridings were done pretty nicely too so all in all I'm still a happy girl.
Apparently my sister thinks buying bread is cool.
I put on a wet suit THREE times today!
Yes, not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!
Dripping sweat #1 for the day.
Then came home and did the intervals.
Dripping sweat #2
Goodnight everybody. Sleep time.
Hmmmm nothing much happened. Did not do anything the entire Sunday, except played the piano for a few hours in the evening.
Taught the kiddos at JE this morning. Went down to Tiong Bahru to SKS Bookstore. It's a really nice place! I recommend if you wanna get any Christian stuffs, please head there! Good prices, excellent service, and there's a widdeeeeee range of everything! Most interesting! Only thing it's a little out of the way.
Came home and immediately hit the bed for the next 1hr before having to drag myself up and down to NUS for the talk with Lloyd followed by swim training.
Feeling very heavy and lethargic and no mood to put in any effort. Mind you, this is after sleeping for 10hrs the night before.
Horrible flu and cough bug, BE GONE! SHooooooo
Goodnight folks and have a great week ahead!
And so, yesterday's concert at VCH marked the 30th Prelude and the 8th Prelude I've been to!
Prelude 23, my first, way back in 2003, was when I started falling hard and fast for TJBand. I remember standing along the sides just to watch their stageband! And laughing so hard! :) And the awesomeness that was Celebration when the Timpani (Derrick no?) and the gong filled the entire School Hall.
Prelude 24, the best one in my opinion. Best band, best songs (Rhapsodia, Les Mis etc, and Abba Gold for encore!), best STAGEBAND! Every thing that happened was really hilarious! I really really loved that most :)
Prelude 25 was our stageband :)
Prelude 26, hmmmm, reminded by Lols yesterday... New World Symphony.............. (*faints! haha!)
Prelude 27, we played as alumni!
Prelude 28, hmm can't quite recall.
All I know is one of these concerts was such remedy for the heart and ears after what is the to me the horrors of NTU band. That Lin Sheng sound :) So good! I never wanted it to end.
Prelude 29 is the worst one I've ever been to and hope never to attend such as one again. The ensembles. Oh my. The horror. Worst still, this coming just after SYF and the controversy.
The constant among this, is, that stageband has always been good :) In the end, it always works out :)
Yesterday's concert was a good one. I felt the band had THAT Lin Sheng sound. ALthough too unpolished for a Prelude? Stageband was goooooood! Laughed tons! :) I liked the flute ensemble and the clarinet one too :) At least they didn't make me wanna get out of the concert hall asap.
The encore was this piece written by this double bass-ist, in tribute to TJ Alumni, conducted by Lin Sheng. It started with a trumpet solo of the opening of TJ school song! And all of a sudden, it was The Chosen, OUR SYF piece. It was so sudden, and really, I haven't heard it for ages! THen, merging into Hymn to the sun, the chorus part where the juniors around us sang, and ended with the ending of Extreme Makeover, before moving on to the whole band playing the school song, a different version from the recorded one. I think what touched me most was, it all being merged together and starting and ending with the school song. TJBand :)
Usually alumni sits in the balcony, and this time there were a few rows reserved for us! So everyone was together, and that last song received a standing ovation from the entire alumni. The only times I cheered and clapped so hard was for Lin Sheng, and for that tribute. After which, our guys started the TJ cheer :)
The row behind us were the juniors that just graduated I think. And boy were they making soooo much noise. Firstly, screaming so loudly, high pitched too. Secondly, shouting so much. Thirdly, talking so much. For me to complain about screaming is really something because mind you, I come from TKGS! We should be immune to such things! Hehe. Even Hongyu sitting beside me (2 years younger batch) and friends were a little annoyed over those shrieks. Makes me wonder, generation gap? But I don't remember shrieking at all back then! I think, we grew up hehe :)
It's so good to see all the alumni, and my batchmates again. Like Lols pointed out, they should've included Celebration. Because, it was that batch, to me, it was the '86 batch, that made alumni all the more stronger, and all the more respected by the main band. Some things have changed over the years. No more school song? And as a sec sch kid I loved the spontaniety of TJ Band, and all the crappiness and nonsense which showed through during concerts. Like how after it's over they'll just strike up some nonsense, be it some song everybody knows, or part of the favourite light pieces played for concert. Although we've all kinda moved on, I'll always remember Lin Sheng and all the band times. It's been too big a part of my life for me to forget :)
At the reception area,
Oh, the Emcees were such a "joke". I bet they've never been to a band concert, or any other concert for that matter, before. Everybody was about to @!@#$%% them!
I wish Jiwen was there to see it though :) I would've liked to share, what was so impt in my life then..
After the concert, outside was having YOG opening rehearsal or something. There were these burning fire pots thingy all over the place! Everybody was complaining about pollution, and boy, was the whole place SO HOT! It made the already very humid Singapore EVEN MORE HUMID. Boiling cauldron.
And at 10pm, I was already soooo tired and about to KO, I wished I was in bed.
So this morning, I refused to set my alarm. Time to rest and recover. Sneeze sneeze sneeze. FLU BE GONE!
I miss Jiwen. I have so many things I wanna tell him about! THings which are impt to me and have been on my mind. Emailing isn't quite the same, and Skype is an asshole :(
But let's shake those pompoms! It's racing time! Tour of Japan! Go GO GO! :)
Now, what is Mr Incredibles doing down there? Hehe
Run Your Own Race
or
Ride Your Own Ride
Today I woke up with horrible lack of sleep. Reluctantly dragged myself up to eat my breakfast of peanut butter bread, choc milk, banana.
I had a bad throat (falling sick kinda thing) since the night before and some insect bit my eyelid so my left eye was a little swollen.
Regretted not wearing my old tri shoes the moment I stepped out from the block! "WHY is the ground so wet!" I only checked the skies and not the ground.......
7am longhouse saw only Marcus, Luke, Alvin and me, so they hooked onto 7am JR with me seeing the gallows in my mind. I didn't even survive until Sengkang believe it anot. Okay, I knew I wouldn't survive for long. And that was even with Alvin pushing me up the slopes of YCK!
SO although I was sulking cuz I just did the exact same loop on Wednesday, I decided to just ride my own ride, the way I always do. Alternating between big and small gear. Big at the long areas of SengKang and Punggol, and small when I can't take it, keep the speed and legs turning please!
This other girl was onto my wheel for most of the way! Definitely was NOT taking the shorter route. So loserfied. Get dropped and take a shortcut only to be overtaken again? Noooooooo.
SO at Tampines Ave 10 met more ppl and because I was ignoring the rest of the world and doing my own ride, people were actually following me! Was not too interested in hooking onto ppl's wheels and letting THEM decide my pace. So, I pulled for about 7mins hard and then a little easy then hard again for a total of 10mins at coastal and the guy was following me all the way! He said thanks at the end hehe :)
Well, I felt it was a good ride cuz when you don't care about others, and just make up YOUR own mind to ride YOUR own ride, you end up feeling good, training hard, and others follow you! Haha.
Which is like what JiWen taught me when I was thinking about staying longer in Spain anot. Decide what YOU want for your ownself. THen just do it!
Mr Polka Dot remembers me! Met him along ECP after their drinks break. He was Mr Red Black today hehe. His colour combis are so fascinating! Haha! He said Hi! :) :)
And then this freaking car horned me long and loud at the junction after Fort Road, just because I was tired and a little swervy while clipping in. Come on, I didn't even go out more than half the lane I was in! Seeing a FEMALE cyclist, you should give ONE WHOLE LANE leewey cuz females like me are noobified!
Oh, so I was thinking I've only got a degree from the Monster School but the sister has already graduated with Masters! PhD will be when attained when she goes Olympics teeheee :)
Ate ban mian at TPY! Since a looonnnnggg time! But aunty still recognises me! Hehe :)
So I now have a very blocked nose! Noooooooo! If I fall anymore sicker than this, I'm gonna eat flu medicine and Panadol. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I CAN'T FALL SICK. Noooo not now!
I'm excited about TJ Band concert! Prelude 30! Wow time flies :)
And seeing JiWen on Skype is so heart-breaking. So near yet so far :(
Yes, that exact same caterpillar we saw on my bday ride at ECP visited me again, TWICE! During last Sat's ride at Bt Timah, and then this morning just before my run! Hey there!
Life's been soooooooooo busy! You might think with boyfriend away I'd have more time but noooooooo! My LONG list of to-dos don't seem to be getting any shorter!!! Try as I might!! :( :( :( It's like back to the days of old where it's constant out and about! I kinda miss it truthfully :) BUT I'm really tired, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
A little long update in store. Here goes...
Tuesday was trainer intervals in the morning. HR max was only 188! Hmmmmm... Heartland Mall to make new specs, thankfully with the sis coming along! Free cakes, dumpling, sushi? Egg tart! So much nonsense. ANDAND the dumpling aunty turns out to be the old bakery aunty who actually remembers ME! I wanted to run BUT it rained, then when it stopped and I got all psyched up to run, IT RAINED AGAIN! So I just took out the stretchcords and on the 1st/2nd set, it stopped raining. So cheated. So stretchcords and statics it was for the night.
Went for a little longish ride to the east on my own on Wednesday. And yes! Going the long way instead of the park connector gives you a very good warm up! Teeheee :) Decided Selator wasn't for me and went the shorter way by YCK but didn't cut at Buangkok. A little drizzly along the Coast. Cycled by ECP and well, one week ago it was picnic day. Only one week, but yet it seems like an eternity ago. Home time was spent in a hurry trying to clear some of the to-dos. Then off for a bus journey (which turned out to be pretty fast but still hurt my butt) to TYR. Where I met Lemin and NUS coach! And the SMU ppl came over later. So it was pretty fun at TYR!
Cabbed back with the NUS ppl and joined the second time for a swim training. THis time with the Bi team. The company was really good! Real fun hehe! And well, motivating and encouraging too! And it was really really really good to have a coach there telling you GO, and giving comments on your swim :) I couldn't stop um-chio-ing just to have someone say "go" :) :) :) The last time I had this was like 10 years ago? And I always wished the bi/swim team got a coach but we never did. The sad thing was we didn't even swim 2km when the lightning appeared and we had to get out! After the swim, while walking out, I did think about how if I had ended up in NUS with such a bunch of ppl, how would I have turned out otherwise! Hmmmmm....
And a few of them talked about Jiwen with me! It made me VERY HAPPY when they asked/mentioned about him and talk I did! Hehehehe :)
Oh, you think Sports School pool water is cold? It's ONLY 25degrees! ONLY TWENTY FIVE!!!!!! HOW CAN!!!!! 16 degrees sea swim? Help me............................ *gulp
Oh today's Thursday! So this morning I went for a run, up down up down. I was pretty happy this morning! Smiling at everybody and getting good mornings and nods in reply hehe :) Came back and finished the statics and attempted some things on the piano because NO ONE WAS HOME! Till lunch time and then it started to rain rain drizzle drizzle. Oh ulfp satellite is back, up and running! So analysis of rain clouds concluded going the fast way will run into rain, and north won't. Since my bike's filthy, and I was gonna try my old tri shoes, out they came and cycle off into the wet rainy day! It was just drizzly till Clementi, and then drizzly again! All in all it was a pleasant ride and I took less than 1hr for the trip back! The short way of course. This direction is so happyfy-ing! The only hill you gotta climb is up till Lornie and then you get THAT downhill! Another down at Sunset Way. More downs nearing JE. The whole ride seemed downhill! So fun! :) Chocolate smells at Boon Lay! :)
TO the pool! Most awesome weather! Perfect for swimming with a bunch of friends, slacking, playing water and having "poolside gossip" hehe. (SAFRA Tampines with Neemo and Lols right?) BUT I was on my own, doing a whole bunch of IMs, 5x400m pulling and the likes. Ouch. Oh, while warming down, I turned around at the other end and saw some drama going on! The lifeguard was pulling this girl back to the side with the orange buoy! Reminds me of the last time the other lifeguard was so lazy to get into the water he just looked at me and pointed to help! Terrible! Oh, aND there was this one day, where ALL the lifeguards were swimming! I think they had to do some tests or something. So, FIRST TIME I SEE THEM IN THE WATER HA-HA-HA!
I so love NTU pool. Warm and toasty and just right today! No sun tooooo! And the water provides such amazing recovery for the muscles! I love it! That feeling of buoyancy and freedom for the legs after a run / cycle! Love love love it! :)
So.......... Reverse triathlons seem to be the in thing these days hurhur.
Visited Dan's "new" shop in the making too!! At last I have a chance to drop by!
I think JF is like a combination of my sister's dangerous (but not as dangerous as his) riding and Jiwen's friendly waving!
Hmmmmmmm
When I'm always in my own thoughts I get very irritated when family disturbs me! Urghhhhhhh. I wanna go back to hall :( I want my own room again :( Leave me alone! :(
I don't know why but the system seems to have crashed, kinda. I'm VERY out of sorts now. Sigh. It's the i-need-cadbury-almond-chocolate-balls time.
SO, I climbed up and down the stool, dug into all the cupboards, took out everything, put them all back...................
All for the sake of finding the heartrate monitor.
Which doesn't do me any good,
because it just means.....
Doomsday for me tmr morning....
Gulp..........
BUT, as always, silver lining! Found some interesting stuffs along the way! FOr one, I now know where everything is. And found some christian books on relationships and finding the right partner! And came across this box of stuffs from long ago. And read some notes written for me. Hmmmmmmmmmmm................
SO while waiting for the verdict to be out for the death sets tmr, I shall be off to read those books on love and relationships hehe..
But as we all know that there is this somebody out there, just at the thought of, makes me smile like............
THAT! :)
Take a snapshot!
Yes, it's addictive!
I am still amazed how just by seeing a certain squirrel on my computer screen can make my happy index jump tenfold! :)
Yesterday's run was a run in a long time since I ran. I don't know to be happy that I still half remember how to run, or sad that I've half forgotten how to! And such a short run wasn't at all friendly on the shins! :(
I feel so sore all over, like my body's been to war and back. The first 1km in the water was like total crap. Rest day it is today. Great weather in the pool though and I finished the intended sets.
Tomorrow we shall begin again!
In Japan you say?
![]()
Yet another 7am day, a promised slow ride because JF's son and Yujun was coming along!
Haven't rode Sundays with them since........ I think since the day Jiwen rode too! (And we went off at Bishan Park junction and to beat the turning right traffic light I was given a PUSH and off we go wheeeeee!) So..... guess who was on my mind? Hehe.
So it was slow till JF's son went vrrrroooommmmmm off along the rollings of Mandai!
It was fun-ly easy. And guess what. For the first time, we were stopped at the train track just before left turn to Woodlands Road. And A TRAIN WENT BY! KLM. So cool! Some charcoal train chug chug chugging! But it was like 90% empty! But still. SO COOL! hehe :)
And I have concluded that JF's son is the most powerful 12-year-old boy I've known!
Marcus went straight so we all went along and the ride was extended unintentionally through Seletar and then to Jalan Kayu and back. This guy tagged along and after Jalan Kayu, left me and him. He's from Norway and boy is he HUGE! Imagine, JF's son:JF = JF:Norway guy. Riding behind the 2 of them, he makes JF seem so small!! I bet he's like 2.2m! So yeah I went by YCK and Upp Thomson just to show him Longhouse. So...... the ride was pretty longly slow.
It's awesome, to be able to come back from the ride, and lie sprawled on the bed, typing some random words, and not HAVE TO TEACH ON A SUNDAY! Ahhhhh :) :) :)
Oh, yesterday, at the left turn to the flyover to TPY, this bus behind me honked at me! I was wondering what's his problem cuz I turned to look behind already before switching lane to head right. Then anyway the bus went by and I looked and the driver was smiling enthusiastically at me with a thumbs up..................
right.
It's so good to see those pictures, read those words :) and most of all, GET TO SEE YOU AND HEAR YOUR VOICE!
Ahhhhhhhhhh <-- sigh of happiness :)
Turned out to be otherwise! Thank goodness for Alvin (is that his name?) who always helps me to keep up! Push push push! He's real strong! So 7am at Longhouse turned out to be so happening! Haven't been there at that time for a loonnnnngggg time! So many different groups these days!
And so rode with Passione today. (I have had enough of JR) and it was tough already right from the very start! Caught the NUS bunch at along Kranji. Then suddenly I found myself in front, with Clement, at Neo Tiew, like again. Mind you, I was already pretty tired prior and did NOT want to do any pulling. Sigh. Then JF was telling me to keep up with Clement. I was lagging behind see. Or him to slow down. Must ride together. AND it was the gentle upslope part I always die at the start of Neo Tiew from the reservoir direction.
Then, I got dropped by everyone at LCK. EVERYONE! Including the NUS ppl! That was how lousy I was!!!!!!! TERRIBLE! :(
Back with them at the junction after NTU. And Westcoast was bad, with Alvin providing much pushing. We went back via Lornie Road. That means the hill outside NUS, after AYE exit, sunset way AND Lornie Road hill. *Faints. By the time we were along Bukit Timah, I was dreaming of the cold cold H2O in the fridge, taking a shower and SLEEPING!
So I came back and did just that! Slept for 1.5hrs. Taught the kids. Was pouring cats and dogs but got a lift from the kids' dad back. Went to church and am back. Still am very sleepy because I'm yawning non-stop!
Help me find a way
Bring me back to You
You're all I want
You're all I ever needed
You're all I want
Help me know You are near
Are you still thinking about it? Well, I am! Hehe! :)
<3 <3 <3
This has been a pretty happy week save for the heartbreak :(
I feel like some part of me is missing and gone... no? :(
I hope u're enjoying the jap rice and itadakimasu though!
On Wednesday, we went for a morning ride through Thomson. Thank you for riding with me! We were going sooooo slowly you must be so tired of crawling!
Then PICNIC AT ECP! Picnic basket? :)

Don't you just feel like giving him one big hug? hehe :)
I bet we had the nicest and yummiest home-made lunch at that beach that day! :) :) :)
Very much amazed at the strange creatures getting skin cancer from the hot hot hot afternoon sun. How can you stand the piercing heat??!?!??!
Yesterday, the car was delivered to the house, collected my contacts, it's back to climbing slowly up hills chug chugg-ing in the van, and bumpity bump. Swam with Jiwen at his house condo pool! Empty it was. Well, I don't think he quite enjoyed it though...... Lowers the body temperature no?
CHicken pie and char siew bao! Yummmmm :)
The colour for yesterday was............. purple! :)
And then, it's byebye for 31 days this time.
So,
after waking up with only one person on my mind,
I went to NTU to deliver the form and attempted to swim.
Attempted, because it failed miserably.
Just feeling miserable, so I floated for about 2km,
and then emo-ed at the side for the next 20mins.
And then I went off.
Well, I've always wanted to go eat the noodles at TKGS. So I went there for lunch. And my my my. I haven't went by those roads since sec sch days. The parking area behind is "newly" renovated so it was just right bESIDE tkgs. I haven't been there since... j2? I miss that place. Odd week even week banner is still up. The school looks soooooo small now though. A trip back to nostalgia land. Mostly recalling band times really, and some of school. Well, it's alive in my memories. So long ago. Even the coffee shop noodle aunty (she's much skinnier now!) and chicken rice aunty is still THE SAME. And it tastes exactly the same. Except now, I'm 9 years older.
THose little green things seem so young.
Then to Broadrick to pick things up from sister and back home. The whole body feels utterly sore and tired for some reason. Well, at least I know why the knee hurts so badly! BIG bruise! Thank you JW for reminding me why! I totally forgot about the unglam fall! Hehe :)
And the sms updates I got throughout the day made me a happier girl. Funny to say those times were the highlight of the day!
Well I hope all is well in the land of the rising sun.
Don't you just love him?
Well, at least I do.
So, what are you doing over the next 31 days? Train morning, afternoon, night. Advice from our next Biathlon captain. Hehe.. I will, but first, to sleep at 8pm tonight to catch up on all the missing sleep!
Till we meet again.
And so last Friday's swim gave me a total mileage of 11km over 3 days!
Had the meeting with Louise and Sumiko and then the fridge-shifting / room-shifting. Goodbye Hall 15 forever!
Then the retarded contact lenses dropped out. And I drafted the sis in the car. Pretty cool cuz she cut all the lanes for me hehe!
Dinner courtesy of Jw's mom! And durians for dessert! :)
Saturday was a late start which saw me doing a 3++hr ride hiding behind the sister all the way. And then over to the cousin's place for 1month-baby buffet for lunch. Home to shift the stuffs. Died for 20mins. Taught the kids. Went to church. Came back dead.
Sunday got dropped at Kranji. Pedalled all alone through Neo Tiew. Rescued by the sister at LCK. Was pulled AND pushed to catch up with JR. Rode a total of 180km over 2 days. Very sore now. And very amazed at how the legs in front of me just keeps going on and on and on and on and on. Monstersaurus-rex. That is, a true monster.
Monday I swam till it started to rain too heavily till they called us out. A little too short for my liking but since I was bleeding, not too keen to stay up on land waiting till I can go in again, so to the showers I went!
Of all days today is so shady and cloudy and not bright sunshiny hot and I'm taking it easy resting here!
This is a very pointless post.
Goodbye folks!
