Finished a horribly bad ab112. Sigh. I guess it's cuz I didn't study :(
Whatever. I'm sick and tired of studying. I've lost the motivation and am looking forward to one more round only. Sem2 is always much worse for me. Somehow the one month dec break is not a break and the second sem just seems very taxing.
Sunburnt in the pool for 1hr+ trying to figure out floppy hand recovery and getting very confused over how I'm swimming! I wanna video! And watch more videos. Next week no more flopping around alr it's time for intervals! AND early morning swims instead of mid-afternoon-cancerous swimming sessions.
Silent hate.
Discovered that my mom is a hero. Was going to do stretchcords outside, when my hand went into the gate inbetweens and this think which looks like beehive brown stuff fell to the ground with some weird bright green strips. I was quite disgusted. It seemed like a hive in the gate in betweens. So mom went to use chopstick to clear it. Was thankful nothing flew out. After feeling so disgusted, I was about to start my sets when THIS BIG BEE STARTED FLYING AROUND THE GATE. And then we concluded with certainty that THAT was a beehive. AHHHHHHHH. I was terrified I tell you. Trying to hide behind the plants. Then I ran all the way to the staircase.
whack! bang! slam!
There goes the bee, dead on the floor. And my mom, a HERO!
Then I completed my 6 sets of pulling and 2 sets of statics. Tried my best to do everyone properly. Abs abs use my abs! I hate bridge. (Sis calls it plank! I find it so amusing) It should be termed as one-minute-of-torture.
Did a survey on the phone about eating healthy and exercise and all. For this research by ntu's mass comm. In the end the person found out I was from NTU also haha. I think they cold-called. It was through my house phone.
I WILL TRAIN HARD!
Tmr having morning cycle again after 1half months of break! Rather apprehensive about it cuz the distance is long, (ECP!), the ppl seems xiong (and fast!) and I'm really out of shape on the bike. Am worried my muscle will act up. And I'm actually wishing Rod's ridding too :( Somehow if he's ridding I'll feel safer, like I can just imagine Wilson and the rest zooming off and me being dropped :( At least Rod'll probably wait for me if I'm slow. Or at least I think so. Unless he meet that friend of Wilson's and go zooming off drafting behind buses...............
Ah well, I'll just cycle up and down ecp till my sis comes by at 8.45 to rescue me.
Goodnight!
Ate the yummiest lunch on earth. It consisted of porridge, (it's really yummy, as plain as the one at home. Sometimes outside porridge water has this weird yucky taste) CHILLI LONG BEANS :) :) :) and sardines (since you buy porridge, u can add the sardine sauce just for the fish, not it seeping into your rice and end up eating a dry yucky fish) and this quite crumpled up fried toufu. At least I was thankful the toufu isnt sour like it usually is from this stall.
YUMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYY :)
I think the problem is I easily think too many ppl are cool! Haha!Actually, just as long as you're able to do something which I'm not able to, tada!
The sun is shining hot hot hot so hot! Sweating in my seat although the fan is blasting (down all the dirt cuz it hasn't been cleaned for eternity ewww). Looking on the bright (literally) side, my clothes are getting a nice nice tan! :)
Bytheway, check THIS out! Really nice breastroke!
From PAP802 lecture notes qn:
In a popular amusement park ride, a rotating cylinder of radius 3.0m is set in rotation at an angular speed of 5 rad/s as shown in the Figure. The floor then drops away, leaving the riders suspended against the wall in vertical position. What minimum coefficient of friction between the rider's clothing and the wall is needed to keep the rider from slipping?
What kind of sadistic ride is this!
Today Leewei said to me: HEY you arms have muscles!
Like WOW great discovery. How do you think I've been swimming all this while? Haha! Just because I like to float around in the water.......
It was a good run at a nice pace despite talking alot!
13 students seems to be not so unbearable these days except that facing Adel who can suddenly refuse to play and there's nothing you can do, and Hannah who refuses to learn, really tries my patience at the end of the day!
And thus I'm forever always grateful to the sis for the car ride back after I'm done for the day!
I'm actually also very thankful for a bro who's much nicer these days, nice enough to come all the way just to deliver the stuffs to hall!
And for mom for everything!
And for dad. (*sense the sarcasm here?)
Yup thanks, for leaving me with no choice but to have a

Sometimes (like these few weeks) when I gotta do make up lessons, it's 15min lunch break, of non-existent break.
Thanks huh. I might as well move into teaching full time, don't study, don't train.
But it does get rather fun at times if not I wouldn't have survived till now, the 3rd year! :)
Received an email which said:
Dear Final Year Accounting Students,
ICPAS would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your upcoming graduation!
That's for clearing too many AUs and so being under the NBS system as a Year3.
During quiet time on the book of Joshua, read this from the application section. About how, I can't control my understanding cuz we don't have all the facts (so true! I just can't understand ppl!), I can't control what other ppl do or how they act. But what I can control is my choice to obey God!
Read Wilson's blog. It's rather political and not something I'll bother with much usually but the way he puts forth his views, just gotta say tt I like it! Makes me laugh haha.
Happy Birthday Leewei! :)
AC208 was bad :(
Change topic.
Ate porridge for lunch from the cai fan store. It was yummmmmyyyyyy! Met sis for swim at NIE pool where I had a very productive but short swim session. Learning fly back breast and free! And how my free stroke is ugly :(
Came back for a cycle with the new handle bar tape which sis is so proud of. Haven't cycled for close to 1 month! So I crawled all over ntu's hills. Rolling down more than climbing up. So lazy!
Reached back and Leewei asked if I wanted to swim so I went for swim round 2 at SRC pool, more drills and trying to get the drated hand to relax. Dinner at can2 saw me queueing up lonnnggg just to eat my usual fish soup. And as a results, I had a very useful -marketing crash course from a marketing-A pro! Haha thanks man leewei :)
I'm really convinced that the H2O poster at the pool IS vicky campbell haha yay.
Thanks to Esmond for the borrowing of his scanner! His bedsheet is actually Sesame Street! Super duper cute!!
The eeyore cup has 4 faces of eeyore. Fell in love with this blur look of his!
Sis changed the handle bar tape! It looks kinda fun
THE bike!
The Pooh which I always fall asleep on at my table!
Oh, on Sunday I taught Adel and Hannah and I gave Adel the bookmark cuz she had 20 stickers already. I was hoping she'd like it. And guess what! She VERY shyly told me 'I just lost my bookmark!' Ahhhhh yay so happy she liked it wahahha :)
Happy Birthday Victor! :)
Today's paper was one of the worst in my life cuz I DID NOT FINISH :( It was totally disgusting.
Firstly, we had 6 questions. SIX?!?!?! When past years there were only 2? Or maximum 4?
Qn 1: Identify 5 events and how they can affect BBB (the company). 2 response measures for each.
Qn 2: Identify 3 risks and how it affects one financial statement assertion. Two control measures and how it addresses the risk for each.
Qn 3: 2 events and control measure each.
Qn 4: List and explain 5 controls
Qn 5: 6 factors when prioritzing risks
An 6: 6 key risk indicators
Ohmygoodness. It was really really too much! I could only list 5 and couldn't think of anymore! :(
And after typing this, I realise I should've written opportunities for qn1 cuz they said events n not risks only. AHHHHHHHHH :(
There were once three dinosaurs. The tyrannosaurus rex was called Heyhey. Triceratops was called Hornhorn. And the other, (I really dunno what type is it. It seems more like some sort of dragon to me. Wings and all) was called Nothing. (Actually cuz when sis was asked what to name it she said nothing and hence the name stuck I think)
One fine day, while mum was frying lunch (thus we were banished into the master bedroom and not to walk in and out), I was playing with my cross stitch needle (was it?). Trying to see how deep into Heyhey I could poke the needle. Poke poke poke. Till my finger slipped and the needle disappeared into Heyhey. OH NO. That means I can't hug Heyhey anymore cuz the needle might poke me! I need to get the needle out!
Not sure whose great and wonderful idea it was to start jumping on Heyhey to get the needle out. We alternated taking turns to jump. One of the times it was my turn, the needle came out! But it went into my right foot while jumping! I screamed cuz it looked disgustingly scary, a needle poking out from my feet. It wasn't pain at all, but just looked so freaky. Mum came to the rescue. I sat down on the bed and she just plucked it out. The foot looked normal. And immediately I walking again as if nothing had happened.
The End.
I just felt the urge to relate that incident suddenly. Feels like the big gaping wound from the fall. It's not pain, but the sight of it coming from me is, horrifying, and you just wanna make noise. Just for the sake of making noise cuz it's horrifying. Makes sense?
It's always the right. The right foot (I think?), the right thumb, the right leg.
What kind of logic little kids have? To think I could think about jumping on stuff toys as a solution to getting needles out. Hilarious. And could it have been a cross stitch needle? I wonder how old was I. Primary school? Can't quite imagine my piano kids coming up with such ideas. But I was quite intelligent when I was young! haha!
Thanks to the EXroomie for coming all the way to eat dinner and for the little something. Somehow felt like uh visiting ppl's 'house' need to get something kind of thing haha! But it's these sort of stuffs that you do appreciate cuz well, makes me feel remembered haha.
To think dinners like these aren't an everyday occurrence and to think I won't be seeing her for almost one year!!!
On a side note, everybody seems to be running out of printing paper! Haha.
The view from my kitchen window. I like it to storm :)
That's sis trying on my jeans (to see if she became so much skinnier she can wear it!) before cycling back. I still think she looks tOTALLY weird w the cycling top n jeans.
This was sitting on my table. Dry off - the most amazing material ever invented! Then I realise, LOOK! swim bike run :) cool cool cool
I was so bored, I started singing away and recording my voice. Anyone wanna hear my singing and comment please let me know. Haha. I might consider.
I am happy today!
The weather was extremely perfect today but due to 15 being so far from the SRC (half regretted not choosing 2) I decided I don't have the time to swim. So in the evening, I couldn't take it and decided to go for a long 2 rounds jog. Half way through the usual route I met Eileen n Joshua climbing up at mass comm bus stop! So I turned around (and ran back up!) with them. We decided to try a new route, going out from Jalan Bahar, and one big round outside and in through Pioneer Rd North! Although not the best of ideas considering is was at 6+ peak hour. But still the run was interesting! At a nice good pace! (I was quite worried I wouldn't be able to keep up but Eileen just swam) And nice new route running along the HDB there.
Half way out I saw this cyclist and my first thought was 'what day? thursday! 6+ hmmm must be junyang!' and like who else can it be haha :)
So all in all I had a very very nice run and I'm a very happy girl :)
So I was on facebook and I saw Zhiyun took the what sport are you quiz and she said: the quiz kept making me choose between swimming and running. i was like how to choose, i like both! so i alternated and i think the com got a little confused. but i'm glad i got swimming. swimming is love!
HAHA. My sentiments exactly. How to choose! When I did it I got so confused as well, I gave up halfway haha!
Well, talking to Edmund about how he's now working at airport. Just made me wanna say: I really love the airport! I like it! For it holding so much excitement whenever you go there. (Flying off to wherever!) It being so posh and cool with so many foreigners. Bustling with life and people. (Okay except for terminal 3) Mostly just the atmosphere. The sense of anticipation :) and when you reach back, the home sweet home feeling!
Alright, I guess the next time I'll be there will probably be 16aug! I wanna fly tho. Fly fly fly.
There, the very empty terminal 3 sometime last year when we went to pick sis!
Discovered how amazing my laptop is when it was on for 17 hours yesterday and the bottom was still cool.
Missed the morning cycle due to studying for C law until 12 and am continuing choinging for it now :(
On a random note, Pooh is very nice to hug! So soft also haha
The clock is up and running! Albeit, backwards.
Will post video on facebook! :)
11 students in 8half hrs. Thus far, the greatest record! Only a 15min lunch break! I'm amazed I was still sane during Weilin's lesson. Pon the last 2 kids to sit here and do marketing.
Yesterday was Pamwam's bday! Realised I haven't been to her house for eternity. And she had to describe the bus stop as "the one where you got flooded at last time". AHHHhh. It was good to meet up with everyone, mj kev qtz mund ttk guanheng xt lm gen twain n of cuz the bday girl! The food was really yummmyy, like nicely bbq-ed n all! And the potato salad somehow reminded me alot of Ms chew's one during mardi gras. To escape from the smoke and of nowhere to sit, we headed to pam's hse to play kev's game of Taboo! I think hM will be very good at tt game too! Like how kevin is. (*recalls the making of cy's bday video at taka!) But I had fun I must say :) Haven't laughed at junk with the band peeps for so long :) We need more of such times! Can neem come back faster!
I still still still don't understand.
Had my last presentation for the sem. Seafood seaside -- fishing for food and pleasure! (as much as it was me who came up with that, I still prefer Marilyn's one of 'an experience that won't subside') So, it wasn't THAT bad after all after Rick's comments! :) :) :) 20marks! Hope it's alright.
Then had a swim at the pool. It was a busy day with many ppl. Met yuankai and the hall2/touchrugby/liling's fren/fellow special sem astro-er/always see her when I run/can't remember her name. Pingwei came at like 1.30pm on the dot with me trying to rescue the sticker which came out. I finished the entire opsite spray and thank goodness it actually stayed! :) Rod 15mins later. Due to lack of nothing better to do, I ended up doing my sets at pathetic timings but seeing how I nv push off n tumble turns n felt like legs were sinking, it's okay :) Darren and Martti appeared too! So it was quite happening. So sad Martti's going off for one month next week! Have always been seeing him around the pool/running always :)
Big thanks to Rod for comments and help. Cuz I think I quite get it now, for free, breast and fly! :) Useful swim session today I must say, albeit a very long one, and not very tiring. I WILL LEARN HOW TO SWIM IM. I don't wanna be scolded by songloo contrary to what I said haha.
Alright. I'm staying over on a Friday night for a quiz tmr. I'm really sian. Look at the position studies has taken. I'd rather be staying back for a race tmr instead!
Dinner time!
Yesterday I
Removed the stitches! I didn't quite dare to look. The after effects of removing is I think the pain-est thing (apart from the anesthatic jabs) of the whole ordeal.
Swam! For the first time, after not swimming for 12 days, when I entered the water I didn't have the "you're drowning" feeling which I usually get if it's more than a week! Looks like Rod's right after all haha. But I think the stretchcords partly helped! But I still gotta keep watching my stroke mann.
"Training" (inverted cuz it wasn't tt bad for handicapped ppl like me who slacked haha) consisted of a nice 800m warm up! Which is just like how sis' sets which she told me to do started off from day 1 :) Swim, kick, IM. Then we did some sprints which I guess is to get our heartrate up? IMs. And then I started to wonder will I ever really be able to do it again and do I even want to :( I guess it's just paranoid about the wound! Sis explained abt the air being already inside so when you're in the water the pressure and all thus the bubble moving around. EWWWwww. So disgusting. But the opsite did last and all n it was dry inside!
So cheers! :)
Also, TKGSSB -- Gold with Honours! :)
I'm so proud of tkgssb! I'm so thankful I stepped into there, into that amazing band with so much history. It was a superb learning ground, both in terms of clarinet playing, music making, intonation, tone, the exposures we had cuz of connections, and also outside music wise. Dealing with relationships as we grew up. Of course we had the coolest batch of seniors leading us, BEST BAND for syf 01! :) Still can recall them practising for Othello and us being left behind when they go for combine haha.
Saturdays! Of nice happy mornings coming to school JUST for bandbandband. Morning sectionals at 4th floor with the SEVEN of us :) Lunch-ing at Caltex! Working hard together as a section. The lusciouness you hear all around. Playing together as one. Afternoon combine! (The fear and dread that strikes when you hear ppl shouting 'Combine!' haha!) And then the chilling out till late at Parkway for dinner :)
TJband was a totally different experience. One that I enjoyed nonetheless. But nothing, will ever take that place of tkgssb in my heart. And I'm sure I'll be a totally different person if not for stepping into there :)
I think I can safely agree with the saying that ignorance is bliss.
