Alright.
Today's ride was just alright.
Took a little longer than expected to get to carpark F2 just cuz I didn't know where was it. It's about 7km to ECP entering at Fort Rd and another 8km up to carpark F2. (which I over shot actually to F3)
Was a little worried since I was like 3mins late! (Overshot overshot) But turns out everyone only arrived like uh 15mins later? At least I didn't hold them up. There was Wilson and his poly coach (female) so I was a little scared. And she had a commanding presence and gave this order "first round everyone will pull for 1 min" and I secretly died inside. Like this is my second time at coastal give me a break!
But it was fine cuz we went slow like 30km/hr about there. But I was a little too scared to enjoy the ride actually. Concentrated on drafting properly, keeping pace when I'm pulling (I tend to feel very pressurised when pulling and find tt speed shoots up to 30+) and counting the 1min. In a way it's good to have a 'coach' around where you can't give excuses and say no and so it was a good experience taking turns pulling. It's always learning time whenever I'm out!
Somehow the hills were really fine. Or cuz the going was (really) slow relative to what I'm always put through! Although I felt very lost :(
So I dropped out after one round, only to find out one of sis' frens fell and they were quite far away and so I slowly cycled, enjoying the furthest end of ECP. Till 2 joyriders rode by and I decided to up and follow. I think it was tougher than the selarang ride to keep up w him although can tell he's taking it easy! urgh I'm so lousy.
Met sis at end of Fort Rd and it was coolbeans to cycle back. We went pretty fast (I think the fastest speed of the entire journey) and it was nice to find out how to cut the lanes and which lane to filter into and not feeling so scared cuz u're on ur own but at least sis will check the cars and all. Cuz the last time I took that route home on my own, I overshot the cutting of lanes and didn't know where and so I took the TRAFFIC LIGHTS. So noob!
All in all it's great that I don't have to study! Wooohoo! :)
