HAHA THIS IS HILARIOUS
I'm trying to convert my hand written piano notes into an organised typed up format and while looking for a nice piano picture to put on the cover I was googling images of pianos and there were lots of pictures of the side profile of the keyboard and the first thing I caught myself looking at was IF THE KEYBOARD WAS LEVEL HAHAHAHA.

Last days of 2012
9:11:00 am
So I'm going to blog now because I feel a little talkative. Bunny eats like a horse. And nobody wants to buy her yet, so looks like I'm stuck with the crazy girl for a little bit. She is cute though! But I wish Wennie is here to play with her together with me.... I think I was a little out of sorts because I was PMSing perhaps....... Bunny does binkies all the time! She is a happy girl hmmm!
Stephen's house is pretty cool with the huge TV and the couch which moves into a bed like first class in an aeroplane! Carriage hills was fun with the thick thick snow! I learned how to ski not too badly thanks to my group-but-private lesson - the instructor was really good! The black ice was soooo scary though and God's hand was really with us the entire way. Snow and driving is no fun. And car rides are no fun for a bunny who ends up being grumpy.
2012 - The first whole year being married
It has been a pretty unproductive year in a way. Was not working hence no income. Not training, no wins of any kind. One of my worst experiences (which I still feel scarred from) is taking my Class 2B license. I so do NOT want to ever have to go back to BBDC. One of the best days of 2012 is 17th August, when I passed. Exactly on the dot of the maximum number of demerit points because I ran a light - cyclist instinct I do believe, not on purpose! I blame that annoying "L" plate car in front who took SOOOOOooooo long to get moving and then crawled through the junction. But it was a happy day because Wennie picked me up and I remembered being so happy to see him and then riding Mr Beep back!
One of the worst periods of this year was also the time in San Francisco, when we both were sick and down and it felt soooooooo terrible. Still I'm so sorry Wennie had to do what he did for me and the toilet sink and he is just simply an awesome husband who loves me so much and for that I'm the happiest girl in the world. Now, if only we could be together always :( School and Canada was a whole new experience and it would be great if not for being apart from Wennie :( I think the second biggest sad part about being here though is that it's gonna be soooooo painful when I try to cycle again............................
I am looking forward to the new year, the new term, all the field trips, and seeing Wennie again. It is getting a LOT harder :( That was why I got married wasn't it???!!! So I could see him everyday :(
I will be a better girl next year! Cheers 2012! So long, Farewell!

Tummy bunny

I miss my husband so much I feel really sick in the tummy and I have absolutely no appetite at all :(
Bunny is cute though but it's hard to toilet train her
I've decided to find Bunny a new home though for a variety of reasons............
Hopefully I can find someone to buy her soon
So our second day of tests were interestingly fun! We were given a bag of unassembled action parts to reform into an action model. Like little kids given a bag of lego....
Toronto was good fun. And seeing Wennie was the most awesome thing that happened in the last month. Ice, snow and driving experiences were a first.
I want Wennie back :(
144 days folks - so extremely far away :(

97 days

9:46:00 am
It has been 97 days since school started and I have been tuning every single day...........
I AM SO GLAD TUNING TEST IS OVER AND I AM NOT GOING TO TOUCH MY TUNING HAMMER OR TURN A TUNING PIN FOR THE NEXT WEEK!
I hope I don't lose it all when I'm back......................
Today we had a written test and our tuning test. The written test wasn't the best, like there were only 11 questions and I have like.... 3 wrong already? Haha! The last question was for us to draw the upright action model and label all the parts. With the instruction given that it has to be able to function! And that we wouldn't be marked on drawing skills haha! I do agree that to have us reproduce the model from nothing is the most perfect way to test our understanding. But it was rather funny to draw it out and funny to hear how we miss different things out! If my action was reproduced, the piano wouldn't damp because I left out the damper spring! A couple of others left out the hammer rest rail. And Stephen's piano would just go "thud" because he didn't draw the damper spoon - it lifts the dampers off when the key is depressed. But since he drew "the circle" (damper pedal lift rod), he could press the pedal and be able to play haha!
I feel like such a weight is off my shoulders because the tuning test is over and our project pianos have been marked! I know I'll miss the class though - having piano jokes that only techs understand. I hope we all keep in contact/share stories together!

| Made by Tex and Mike one bored evening. Made out of different piano parts! |
 |
| Brownie cream puff birthday cake, courtesy of Stephen! |
 |
| "Garfield" on the steps the other day - fur is soooo soft! |
 |
| Anne playing on Stephen's and mine piano this evening! |
 |
| Christmas tree in our basement! And if you can't see the star at the top clearly.... |
 |
| HAHA! That tickled me lots! |
So tomorrow we have 2 practical tests in the morning and cleaning up the shop and then lunch gathering!
And today was the first weekday (non public holiday to account for Thanksgiving) since 97 days ago that we didn't have to be in school at 8am!!!!!!! Felt sooooo weird........ Tomorrow is later too as well! Yippie!
I haven't been training hard and it wasn't till I swam yesterday that I realised how TUBBY I AM!
Ok, I did feel that my face was getting chubbier, like when I wash my face.
My tummy wasn't growing THAT fat. Jeans felt a little tighter.
Weighing scale didn't say any much different.
But it wasn't till I was trying to put on my swimming costume - first time in more than 2 months, that I found out all the fats have been storing at MY BUTT!
I hope Wennie likes a chubby butt.........................................
I had reasons for not swimming though - like all the massacres to the different fingers and then having my thing and then being so busy/tired in school.
Ok, I was lazy.
I have decided I need to take a refresher course in Monster School again!
We'll see how things go but it'll definitely be nice to have friends to do it with :(
And the swimming pool doesn't feel so cold when it's colder outside!
And I think I'm getting used to the cold!
Looking forward to the days ahead! I'm getting out of London for the first time since 105 days ago! Woohoo!

Last week of school! And we have hit the single digit at last - 9 more days till I see my happiest of happiests! :)
I'm 24? Yup I am! This has been a pretty "longgggg" birthday due to the time zones...... It's like 36 hour birthday? All in all, appreciate the love of my classmates! I've never had 25 people (singing class see..) sing me a birthday song before! And had a yummy Jap food lunch. AND a yummy cake (brownie layer with cream puffs on top?) And got my scores (both the delivered ones and at Long & McQuade) and thanks to Stephen for always so willingly bring me to pick them up and the cage too! BUNNY!
Jif is called Vim here! I wonder why.. Unilever hmmm!
I really can't wait for next week. I'm okay with all the tests and assignments and all, EXCEPT for the tuning test.......... so NOT looking forward to that.................................. Just barely surviving; can't wait for 13th December, because it'll probably be the first day since 7th September since I would not be touching my tuning hammer - I NEED A BREAK!

1-4-3
or....
24?
Always a numbers game!
It's the last day of November!
And 5 more days to my birthday!
Stephen reminded me there is a time difference...
I will be eating lunch on a Tuesday afternoon when I turn 24 ha-ha.
So old.................................................
I was just telling Stephen the other day that he's the oldest friend I've got, and probably the oldest guy I've talked to the most! I think the total number of words I've spoken to my dad might even be fewer than what I've spoken to him in 3 months! But anyway, he's 62 and older than both parents.
So excited for my birthday! So many self-bought presents HAHA. And I opened my first bday card yesterday! From the sister! Yay! Donut man!!! (The first bday card received was from Wennie, but to be opened on my bday as instructed)
 |
| LOOK! What are Khong Guan biscuits doing on Scott's table! Apparently it was food sent to him from Vancouver. I turned to look at the manufacturing details and guess what...... It came from Singapore! Teehee! |
Watch this piano! That's Stephen playing on the Honky Tonk piano created by Texas! Tacks on hammer heads? Hardener! Tin Pan Alley music this coming Monday evening! Fun hey!
 |
| And look what greeted me at the door one fine Monday morning. |
 |
| Christmas present you say? |
I went to hear the Western Symphonic band this afternoon and stayed for only one piece - Gustav Holst's Second Suite. For a university band? Makes one appreciate NTU band....... Enough said!
