I guess it's easy to say sorry when it's not known how terribly important that is to me.
I'd exchange all the passes for company next year just for one lunch.
I was out from 9am to 1pm just to ride to the east and back. First time I had to buy chocolate and coke to tide me back home! How bad is that :( why do I keep bonking these days!! So lousy and depressing :( :(
One has to agree the weather today is simply awesome to be outdoors, having a picnic by the beach or at a reservoir, or to fly a kite!
The winds are crazily crazy you wouldn't think you're in Singapore today agree? I was almost blown away on the MTB! Did a fun ride from the shop through the park connectors to Bishan park and went via a new side track and then on to lower pierce reservoir. I must say it isn't as peaceful compared to sunset times! Contemplated visiting punggol but decided tis just a littttlllleeee bit too far for a mtb so I went the inside way of upp Thomson and back. First time I rode that inside track the other way! Decided to head back cause I was getting hungry and thirsty and kinda tiring squinting in the sun when it came out - result of not bringing shades...
Twas a very happy fun ride! And the bike's awesome haha!
And I did a 5.2km run yesterday bringing the week's mileage a grand total over 10km! I am pleased! :)
We packed the blue room and it's a pretty cool place now although I can't wait for our house to b ready!
Have a happy holiday folks! :)
The ironies of it all one can say
People say change is part and parcel of life
Well, not all is I do believe
I wish I had wings
Fly me away
And I need that run
I think this has been one of the happier days this year, that is,
happy ride + happy swim = happy me!
It would be very much appreciated though, if the nose stop running the marathon it has been running for the past 2 days....
I am a VERY happy girl because it seems that there is hope that I am not the slowest female cyclist anymore.... There is still hope that I can move at a decent speed on my bike! I think it boiled down to:
1) The 110psi tires
2) Chi and Tim going steady
3) Ja not trying to drop ppl
4) The VERY comfy early Christmas present from sister in the form of the best bibs on earth
5) The revived CATEYE
6) Not riding with the JDS/YDS group and hence is a much less stressful ride with much less dodginess
7) It's all in the mind!
I'm a tired but happy girl :) legs feel a little sore like they used to. And after I swam, this old man commented to me "you're a very good swimmer uh" and while I don't believe him, that was a pleasant compliment :)
Anyway I've submitted one application. Hope all goes well! :)
Oh and I've once again rediscovered the importance of the core. Without a good core, nothing can be done! By that I mean, no strength to run, swim or cycle. Today fly was much better, could feel the core doing most of the work! Yay! Happyyyyy :)
And so, merry Christmas everyone! :)
YIPPIEEEE!
Helplessly watching the inevitable occur....
With a sigh and a tinge of heaviness....
Maybe it's all for the better....
Okay, I'm stuck in a rut with a little tinge of regret.
Hmmmm and then comes the "what ifs".
Gone with the dreams and on with reality I guess.
