Nice.
Today's recruitment fair for the big 4 here in NTU. Spent like 3hours talking to various ppl. That's after 4+hours of school. Thank goodness I ran (in heels) and caught the last shuttle bus. Still confused and not too sure about what to apply for. Sigh.
Do you know,
it's really nice to swimswimswim in the pool and see underwater the guys bubbling by really fast. Cuz the furthest lane usually does the long-d free ppl. So we go on different timings/programmes. So during the warm downs, sometimes I look across, and it's like a life version of those youtube underwater videos I watch to see ppl's strokes and stuff. Really cool. TO see them vrooming by! :) :) :)
Gonna treasure every few trainings left and all.
Coming to terms with the working prospects/future.
What're my aims/goals/dreams?
Alot to think about sigh.
It'll be an added bonus if it's possible.
Hmmmm.
AA306 seminars are always pretty enjoyable. Everybody was in quite a party mood today. Perhaps cuz our mid term was over yesterday and today's topic was on the second half which uh quite alot of us didnt do.
Somehow it always seems to be in that class that I laugh till like last time those days after band in tkgs where we had the minhui + huikoon + neem entertainment over dinner. Previously it was over Peter Lee's pouting throughout the presentation! Today it was over Marilyn's marshmallow blast REALLY blasting.
It's always so funny to tease her cuz she comes in ahhhemmm a little late for class. And so she gets tricked about what happened in the minutes before she came hehe. AND due to our enthu participation from our group, anyway we won the chocs marshmallow blast. And so Marilyn opened it and it came popping (shooting) out onto the floor. Uber funny... I heard wrapper opening then I saw something fly across. HAHA. Perhaps cuz it's so nice to be in a class with all my Group A ppl! Familiar faces everywhere and table mates are also good friends.
Then it was Peter Lee's last lesson with us before he retires and goes TRAVELLING! (we asked him about his plans) So due to Marilyn's great idea of asking him to sign our textbook, after waiting for him to answer everyone's qns, I asked him. And he was like 'You're Jocelyn right?' Wahaha he remembers me! Hehe. And then after me and Marilyn, EVERYONE ELSE left around started asking him too! And he had some sort of autograph signing session haha.
And then we saw Prof Angela after that and she waved at us and Marilyn got excited. HAHA.
Yesterday was a pretty nice day with lovely weather. Wanted to do a long run with a different route and a slow one. So asked almost everyone in the bi team to no avail due to many many other reasons :( In the end, decided to ask Rod if he's ponning class and he was and was up for a run! Woooohooooo so ran out jalan bahar and in by pioneer rd with him and ervin. Pretty short. We were going at a crawling pace but it took us 30mins only! A little too much exhaust when you hit the main road area, but so much better than the hills.
And so, I'm contemplating X-campus run. First and last one. Would like to give it my best shot to see where I stand :) For the fun of it :)
Trying to find team members!!
Did I mention I like to read certain ppl's blogs. It's quite uplifting. A big contrast to certain other ppl's blogs haha.
Anyway recess is over which never felt like recess cuz sis was having classes so it felt like a normal week except I pon all my lessons.
Another 'race' over, SUniG road race on Saturday. A very different team this time round. Don't quite understand why everyone always starts off so fast. Still remember last year everyone started off and it seems like the whole world was running after the sis. And I just did a jog behind lol-ing to myself. Like who in the right mind would wanna attempt running after her in a race unless they're doing 1km only or something.
This year the world ran after Elaine. But I did my own run :) Slacked a little cuz the girl ahead was too far and the girl behind wasn't too near. But the race really seemed VERY short. 26mins to be exact. So yay that's a new PB of 6km :) And the thing about 3km < 13mins which seemed impossible last year actually seems possible now! And I'd like to try a 2.4km just for the fun of it sometime soon.
All in all, left two sat rides, nike run, and ivp weekend, then retirement! That's fast.............. Looking for some random races just for the fun of it! If it's not too costly.
