Everyday I blog about the weather!
But it's reallyy awesome!
Yesterday morning I woke up to a CLOUDLESS sky! Perfectly blue! I took a picture.
I really like my hp camera. Leewei explained how some cameras make the pictures sharp and some dont. Mine's the gentle colours kind. Love it!
Completed almost aLL (except one) the readings in the morning. I was seeing stars after. Productivity decreased dramatically in the afternoon. In the evening I went for a 1hr run (x2 NTU) at about 6.20pm which is later than what I usually do. I caught the sunset. It's really amazing these days! I was just staring at the sky! The colours! Magnificently orangey reddish awesomeness :)
The weather was extremely nice. But the legs weren't friendly at ALL. And it didn't help that my nose for some reason started bleeding halfway. No tissue and so my jersey became quite a mess. I really felt quite bad, such that I actually went to buy a can of 100plus, hoping to put back some stuffs into me.
The sun was so hot in the afternoon my clothes dried in 1hr!
I cooked too much pasta for dinner. It wasnt till I dumped the entire pile of pasta into the pot with hot water that I realise it is actually aLOT! Too bad, too late. In the end, it was quite okay.
Haven't been able to sleep well these days. 12+am sleep. And I somehow kept waking up at 6-ish these few days.
Anyway I ate breakfast, finished the lecture, slept for 20mins, then off to ride! IT was rather fun today! Because it's a public hol! There was a bunch of them at the peak at Graduate hall. I think it was a grp of cycleworks?
Met many cyclists along the way! Many many! I saw the ocbc boys zoooom by! And the sis some distance behind haha. SO COOL.
It was headwinds towards Neo Tiew. Pretty strong. The wind socks are working again. They tell a similar story. I felt quite ok so I just kept moving my legs, spinning spinning. Towards the end this angmoh couple overtook. They were going abt my speed n I think were behind me for quite a way. So I drafted and it was pretty fun. Haven't cycled with others since fOREVEr.
Kranji reservoir never fails to make me smile. Coming back was much better cuz it was tailwind. And so it was fun :) EXCEPT that 199 was behind me all the way from the jalan bahar entrance. I dont know WHY it didnt wanna overtake. Was quite irritated cuz I couldnt crawl up the hill the way I wanted. But nice ride and I did some stretchcords altho the back is REALLY achey.

Look at the wispy clouds! Can anyone guess where this is?
I just love to stand outside my room these days to just gaze at the clouds moving by so quickly. The winds are really strong. The green, the blue, the white, the birds and the occassional eagle soaring by :)
I am, HAPPPYYY
(yes, despite the studying)
107 words
Woosh!
Oh, and I gotta add today's the fIRST time I read an entire article in the ZaoBao! Cuz sis' article came out today. My chinese is NOT BAD! (self-declared)
The weather is so perfectly awesome these days it really sucks to have to stay indoors! After exams I plan to be out EVERY SINGLE DAY till the day I start working. Cuz by then, I don't think I'll be able to see daylight :(
Yesterday, while brushing my teeth before I sleep, (yes I do that unlike someone else tsk!), there were 2 freshies bathing and I overheard their conversation. Well, not exactly overheard. They were talking loud enough for the whole toilet to hear. It made me smile, (and a little of roll eyes).
They were wondering if they're able to get back their scripts. Did I know that before my first exams? I thought I did! Okay, I think I know cuz sis entered uni before me. They were wondering if they put multiple answers there and among them one was the right one, will they be marked correct. I thought, if I was the marker, I'll give a big fat ZERO. (hahhaha! Now you know how I marked my chem papers last time!) Haha. Nahh I didn't come across such situations before.
They talked about how "lu4 hai2 chang2" and how they have 7 more of these left. ROOMIE! Do you remember how we were counting down every exam? I had 5 left, you had 7! And now, I'm gonna have 1 left, and you've 3! I feel so, OLD................. (I am turning 21! NOOOoooooooo)
And exams have been playing less and less of an impt role for me. I dont think I studied half as hard as previous times! Okay makes sense cuz I only have 2 cores. Haha. Okay makes a lot of difference.
And also, we should tell our juniors to study damn hard for the first 2 years. Cuz that's the GPA which ppl will look at. All our job interviews are in December, which probably means if we DO secure a job from this round, nobody quite cares how your GPA will go from there!
Oh, I hate interviews. They're so NOT my cup of tea.
So I went for a ride at LCK. I suspect one of the wind socks along LCK is not working quite right. (The one nearer NTU?) They used to tell the same direction and all. But now, it seems the one nearer NTU is perpetually pointing away from the road and the other one is perpetually headwind when heading to neo tiew! I think it was correct tho.
I feel so scared to ride these days. Like the wind is CONSTANTLY blowing into your ears. I don't think it's cuz I haven't rode for so long and I forgot the feeling. But it's cuz it's December am I right? Pretty scary cuz it's so noisy I can hardly hear when the cars are coming and going around the bends at Neo Tiew is kinda freaky.
But it was really nice today. I started singing away near Kranji Reservoir. (Guess which song!) It was a reallyyyy nice sight. Saw interesting birds (a blue one!) and I did enjoy myself alright :)
Came back and did 5 sets of the stretchcords core intervals thingy. And I almost died. Like, I'M SO WEAK! :( And so I decided I'll try it again when I'm fresher.
Can you see the nike sign imprint? From the tights!
Okay, quite hard to see haha.
And what is the FF bag doing outside my door for one week already!
And my neighbour has a pair of really cute slippers!
The weather these days reminds me of Thailand. Really nice! Cheers to NO RAIN! The sky's so blue I'm so in love with it.
At JE MRT. Just look at the green and the blue!
Home sweet home
I went to teach Hannah and Adel at JE. And Adel CRIED! Cuz she couldnt find her points to exchange for her present. Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk. Haha. Kids will be kids. They amuse me so.
I can't wait to play with microfilms again! Altho the last time I did it, the excitement wore out real quick. But the stations at JE library were full today.
I think I spend most of the time either 1) talking to myself 2) singing to myself 3) people-watch-ing!
I had a free MRT ride back from JE to Boon Lay cuz my EZ link card kept going red and the ppl couldnt figure out what's wrong cuz nothing was wrong! So she let me in. And the same happened at Boon Lay. And I was told to go to the Ticket Office where the lady looked at me and asked "What's wrong?". Uhhh, that was suppose to be my question.
So I had to pay cash when I took the bus in cuz it couldnt read again :(
I don't wanna get a new one cuz I like my rainbow and stars and forever friends! :(
Perhaps it's cuz I was so absent-minded when I board the bus at hall today. I used my hall room card and tapped!! And it was the 199 uncle again! I like how he speeds ALL THE WAY over all the humps and bumps and all!
Today, it was reallllyyyyy lovely.
Except that I only STARTED studying jap this morning.
And so, I studied all the way till I reached the door of the exam hall.
And I'm glad to say, I think I should be able to manage a 'S'! :)
*Phew
I took one hour to do laundry. Cuz of the ant-saga. No wonder the ants were everywhere! Apparently, there were all in the laundry bag which is in the laundry basket with all my clothes on top. I think they were attracted to the uhh detergent sis used in NUS?
And so, I had some ant-spotting-cum-killing session. (For ONE HOUR) Sorry ants, I have no sympathy whatsoever towards ur little selves. And I put the last packet of ant food out. Die ants die!
While I was eating dinner (alone) at can 2 after my Jap paper, there were these 3 bunch of (disgusting) china men sitting on the next table and out of the blue they started talking to me. I actually managed a conversation in Chinese! except for one part I didn't understand.
Anyway the weather was simply awesome today, such that I actually voluntarily WALKED back to hall. I mean, I am like, the most lazy person, always making use of my $80+ of school facilities fees (including swimming pool n all!), and I aLWAYS take the bus. But it was a most enjoyable pleasant walk back.
Except that, our little mama shop downstairs didn't have Yakult and H2O! :( I wanted to buy from Nanyang Mart but was too lazy to lug it all the way back since I was intending to walk.
Hope it doesn't rain tmr! I'm excited to rIDE!
But I'm achey from yesterday's swim and run.
Oooh
And, with that, we've come to the end of yet another chapter. Time to put the full stop, and turn the page. Just to look back n smile! :)
I admit, something was wrong with me the entire last week. I think my self got left behind on the airplane or something. (In BKK airport perhaps!) I didn't do anything at all the whole of last week!
BUT, I'm back!!
Today, we had our first paper. AA301. It was most surprisingly different from past years. Such that, I didn't quite know how to do it really. After 1hr into the paper I was really thinking about dabao-ing and walking out (of course not haha) and dreaming about the swimming pool just outside. I was never so glad when I heard "stop writing".
To the pool I went! It was awesome! Only a few ppl around, and perfect weather, drizzle drizzle drizzle. But I don't know why I seem very red now altho there was NO sun at all! I was um-chio-ing all the way in the pool! Really SRC pool rocks socks totally I LOVE it! Best pool I know. It's clean and empty! (if you go at the right time of the day) And warm. And perfectly lovelylovely! I was one happy girl doing a happy swim which made my one-week-didnt-swim-hence-turned-flabby arms ache.
Gave yu pian tang at can 2 a miss and instead made my way to Can B for ytf AND the chocolate muffin! YUM.
Alright, yes I DID sing the muffin man song while happily walking the north spine eating my muffin. Well, if it makes one happy, why not? Haha.
Despite the constant drizzle, decided to go for a run instead but NOT with leewei cuz he wanted to do fartlek and since I haven't ran in 2 weeks or done a proper self run in a month (oh gosh it's really THAT long!) so I did my own run. BUT, surprisingly, I met him at our hall bus stop and so had company till the hill where he went SAFTI and I continued my run. Met manF! Twice! And wilson! And leewei again when I finished my round and him around his sAFTI.
Oh, and guys are so, ego. Like the dragonboater who kept glancing over his shoulder cuz I caught up with him and then ran faster and faster so I wON't overtake him. Guys, will be guys. (Recalls the very interesting Nike Run guy!)
So all in all I was a happy girl, doing a good run, in perfectly awesome weather. Felt really good. Okay, not quite so physically (I mean I haven't run hills properly for 2 weeks!) but mentally I'm alot better.
I felt very tired though. I think it's the few hrs of sleep I got last night!
Waiting for leewei to get my movie! I shall be off to cook my dinner! Should I do a maggie noodles with pasta sauce today? (4 free packets of noodles collected from ppl cuz they didn't want it in the x-campus run goodie bag!) Or pasta with pasta sauce? Or noodles with msg. Hmmmmmm.....
Oh, not forgetting EY called for the interview! Woooshhhh!
A happyyyy day! (minus the morning paper)
The weather there is really nice! Like uber cold in the morning. Freezing to be exact. But sunny (and not very hot) during the day. And it never rains! Not like singapore here, rain when leaving, rain when get back. But it was so cold and windy last night! December is here! :)
I like, how the place is so free and easy. So haphazard. So not like Singapore. It was really refreshing for a change. To not have everything so prim and proper in all it's places.
On the way into the plane, this angmoh couple read my shirt: "I is a december baby" shirt and spoke to me saying they too are december babies! Yay the month of december rocks!
Oh, and it was really funny how everybody watch Forrest Gump. And I thought I watched it often enough already (like 2 or 3 times) when DanLoy said he watched it SEVEN times!
I am so bloody all over ewwwww!
I cycled on the mtb to tpy to get my contact lens solution and then to get the van and drive to our house downstairs. When I got off the van I landed on the side of my foot and my toe scraped the road and started bleeding a little. Then coming out from the lift, the bike pedal scraped against the back of my leg and it wasn't till I was at the sink eating grapes when the sis informed me I was dripping blood, all. over. the. floor.
I concluded, perhaps it's time I donate my blood since it's a universal blood type (according to leewei). The blood, just likes to get out of me. (Check out my bloodied asics shoes in the March posts!)
12th nov
Initially suppose to have 8am flight, in the end, flight changed to 12.25pm. In the end, we could only board at 1pm (plane reached late from BKK) and we only left at like 2pm. And so we had no transit time in BKK and hurried over to catch plane to chiangmai which was already like boarding.
I'm always all alone on the plane! Like my seat is elsewhere far away. But it's interesting, the people I sit beside with. I do wonder where they come from. And they seem like experienced flight ppl. As in, they sit aeroplanes like many times a month or something. Going there I had window seat! Pretty nice really. For the first time in a long time I sat an aeroplane leaving in the day. I actually saw Pulau Ubin, the boardwalk which we walked, the jetty me and lols walked out to, and the viewing tower we climbed! It's really nice, to look down and see the meandering rivers and all!
On the transit flight, I was sandwiched between two big fat middle aged men. One Thai, one angmoh.
Well, it's rather fun to travel with all of them.
Reached the hotel really late, and ate dinner really late. Thailand time here is one hr behind spore. The roads are fascinating. Everybody rides motorbikes/scooters everywhere. You see girls / office ladies in all their skirts n all riding them! And they do so without helmets! And it's so haphazard everywhere. I quite like it. Haha. Better than all the traffic police rules and what not everywhere in Spore.
The hotel is pretty cosy. The bed uber comfortable and I can't remember when was the last time I slept in an air con room! Hmmmmm. I think it's last year when we slept in the SCRC room during FOC. And that's not quite considered cuz we were like sleeping in sleeping bags on the cushions we koped from the Seminar room.
13th nov
Breakfast was yummy toast! They went out for a 4hr ride, and I studied till I was bored and headed down for a swim with the dragonflies. Kicking was pretty scary. I swam at like mid-day! The sun was up but it wasn't hOT at all.
Water was a little cold, but the worst thing is the pool goes hot cold hot cold. Not nice. I did a long and slow swim. The skinny guy (who I think reminds me of Toy Story's Woody) asked where are we from. He thought we're Chinese. Which is correct, except I didn't want him thinking we're from CHINA. And so I was like 'No, Singapore'.
This really bIG lady was swimming with me (we were the only 2 ppl inside) before she went up to read her book. And
Daniel and Jiwen were walking by and talked to me at the pool. My things were beside the lady so I collected my
stuffs before going off. She was really friendly and spoke with me.
"You're training for the games too?"
"haha no"
"oh I spoke with the boys and they told me they're here to train for the sea games"
"yeah, they're cycling, I'm swimming"
And then, I realise how retarded that sounded.
So I lunched at like real late cuz they came back late. Continued studying more.
Then we went to the supermarket! I tried a Dunkin' Donut which sis says is not at all like USA's one. No QC! We bought stuffs yummyyyy.
Back, more studying, dinner, more studying
I went to use the internet downstairs and the girl this time asked me where I'm from. And she said, she thought I was Thai! O.o
14th nov
I tried running today. Only managed a half hr run cuz I was terrified of the barking dogs. And I got sandstorm from the truck. It was really nice though. If not for the fear of dogs running after me! :( I swam in the later part of the evening when they went out for their riding part 2. The sets consisted of 1.6km of kicking. No dragonflies and the water was much much warmer. I saw water spiders! And the spiderwebs were rather pretty. I guess I'm not so particular about insects and such anymore haha. Imagine, last time I hated swimming in TPY pool cuz of the bees and the buzz (haha)
15th nov
No running. Decided I don't wanna face the fear of running and seeing the dog suddenly pop out. Studied mostly in the canteen. And swam with the sis. Another 1.6km of IM kicks. Oooshh. There was the signing of the OCBC contract for the rest of them. And, DINNER.
Meals are so yummy, especially dinners!
16th nov
Waited forever for the bus/truck. I was again isolated on the plane ride back. But interesting ppl I meet along the way! The sis' bike, got LOST! :( Hope it's really alright and we'll receive good news tmr!
All in all, I learnt that Thailand has HUGE mozzies. Learnt a lot of new cycling-talk. Made new friends! And had loads of fun and crap. I ate a lot, AND slept a lot. (bad bad!) Had a lot of interesting experiences. Learnt a lot of stuffs about cycling. It was cool watching how they had a training camp. But the part about them crashing and alll..... ouchhhhhh... I liked how I could just switch on the black box by clicking a button on a remote control. I watched quite some number of movies haha. Most of all, it was fun getting to know the ppl!
Jiwen! Singapore's fastest cyclist! (woooosh!) So sad about his first day crash. It's like ouch. But he reminds me a lot of a squirrel. A very HAPPY squirrel. I so like the way he speaks. And the way he thinks. And the way he talks about cycling. And how experienced he is. And his constant optimism. And his friendliness. And how nice he is to wait and all at the airport cuz he said "we move as a team" (haha!)
Qiqi. He's really cUTE. Like always smiling away. And he's reallyyyyy nice toooo! Like he'll talk to me and all! And I heard about his amazing vo2 max. Altho I'm still not TOO Sure exactly. And not forgetting his laughter......... goodness......
Lee Lemuel. Haa. He reminds me of a HAMSTER. Like a cheeky hamster happily eating away. He always gives this 'hehehe' smile when there's talk about food. And his helmet tan lines!
Adi (not sure how to spell) Didnt talk to him much, but yeah he always beeps when he walks through the airport gates thingy! And super funny today. There was this cannister thingy for the bike tubes. So of course it looks suspicious so they koped it. And so he was like 'okay u can have it' but the can wasnt that ex but the metal thingy to connect it was. And so he wanted it back. So he wanted to remove the can thingy and it went pssssstttt. And you should've seen the girl security guard's face of horror.... like 'DONT RELEASE THAT THING!' as tho it's a bomb. It was, very, funny. (HAHHAHAHA)
Tim and all his crap. Like seriously, all the rubbish! haha.
Jun Rong and the metal in him. Didn't talk to him much too.
Daniel Loy (team manager), and Dan Plews! (the coach) I like Plew's accent. I really like the way British ppl speak! So it was quite nice to hear him speak during the entire trip haha. And to think he's actually so young. And I thought he was so old. But sometimes I don't understand what he's saying.
And there was the Dinahsaur too!
Yay nice nice ppl :)
Only 2 regrets were: 1) Didnt know I could go the van with them! Would've liked to at least gone up once to see it all 2) Would've like to check out the night market since I'm all the way there for the first time!
But nvm, I still had A LOT of fun!
Really like the company haha.
Too bad, I'm not a cyclist.
The weekend was sleeping time, and yay I decided to go Thailand!
And so, having alternate Sundays makes it all more bearable. Yay I'll have free Sundays from next year onwards. After 3 years, really can't imagine what it'll feel like :)
And so on Monday, the jap listening and oral was really screwy. They spoke so fast, nobody could catch anything. HAHA. Thank goodness I S/U heh.
The swim was nice! :) There was only 1 person in the pool when I reached there. Swam 400m before it started to POUR. But it seemed like it'll stop. So I came up and hid under the shelter and did stretching on the bench. Till the skies cleared in like 10mins. And I continued my swim! Doing what I intended to do yay.
The run/cycle afterward did not materialise cuz it was raining raining raining. I ate subway for dinner! Nice and clean :)
Tuesday I rode in the morning after a very very long time. So grateful the sis appeared and fought the headwinds back from lck. I was crawling and I thought I was gonna be blown away!
Then went to NIE for the yummiest pasta on earth, studied a little and had guitar elective. After which, had a really fun run with Zhijie, Pamela and Darren! And Feroz came barking behind us and since he was doing a 1hr run we went along together. It was SAFTI again, really fun! :) The pace was really good. Terribly relaxing for Feroz I bet but it was just nice for me! At least, not crawling pace.
Then I ran to the pool, and soaked water. Cuz Justin and Andrew were swimming. And then, had a lift back from Justin, and ate dinner with Andrew at can 13, my korean maggie noodles hehe.
Met many ppl along the way. Like Eugene's ex-student. Haha. Talked a little with her.
So all in all, I was extremely tired but happy. I mean come to think of it, the distance and all is like less than a OD triathlon leh! Why am I so tired!
So today, I went for Kranji reservoir part 2. This time, only seeing one dead bird (compared to 2 yesterday), and having no huge lorries spewing sand at me. (3 sandstorms yesterday) BUT every corner I turned at Neo Tiew I met some vehicle. So freaky.
Oh today I saw monkey and dog also.
And I cycled faster by 10mins compared to yesterday.
But today wasn't as windy.
Altho the wind was still perpetually blowing into the ears all the way.
It was sunnier.
And the strangest thing was it wasn't headwind at lck on the way back!
There's no one to swim with me! I'm feeling so lazy. Maybe I should just let my nxt swim be tmr at the hotel hehehhee
Thursday was slack. And the rain kept spoiling all the plans.
Today was a good day. AA306 saw some enlightenment. Thank God it didn't rain. So I had a good swim. Did the sets I did last year, only on crazier timings. It was a bench-marking session. And I was a little pleased. Thanks to Martti and Justin for doing the 16x50 with me haha if not I'll just make excuses or something. But usually as much as I dread doing it, (16mins of torture), after doing it, it really feels good. Like, it wasn't a wasted swim. I hope it feels that way for them too.
I think ppl who do such stuffs fall into 2 categories. Either you go away feeling really good, or vowing to yourself never to subject yourself to such torture again. Haha. I think it's like either you have it to wanna do it, or you dont. If you're in the latter category, I'm not quite sure how to communicate from there.
I'm trying to recapture the feeling from the beginning. Like how they always say "Don't forget the beginner's spirit". It's really true. It's time to start again, aim for something higher, and let's TRY! (tri!)
But I'm really thinking, why am I doing all this. Especially during today's swim. But there were moments like Andrew and Martti pacing me during the pulling. The surprising kicking timings. And the 50s, where I felt like the last time :)
How I wish my stretchcords are with me! :( Cuz I'm too lazy to wake up to brave the cold winds of the morning to run alone. And so it's gonna be a lousy weekend, wasting away! Oh no!
As much as I actually act like it's okay to be staying in Singapore I'm seriously very sad :( It's like I'm never meant to go overseas to study. From the overseas uni application thingy in JC, to the failed INSTEP application the previous year. And now, having gotten so far, to not be able to go. And it's always cuz of some really weird and retarded reason.
I so want out.
Screw it :(
Thank goodness I went for a slow run around school before 'training'.
Due to the filter being spoilt, we had 'open-water swim'.
The jumping saga, all for the sake of helping the lifeguards.
Slacked around with the swim team instead doing pointless things like dog paddling, upside down breastroke, free kick breast pull, running in the water.
Played crap relays like caterpillar and weakest stroke swim.
Dog and bone cum maths.
Swam and had fun in the deep deep polo pool.
Dinner at can 2. Whenever I eat ytf, I think I'm gonna remember what they said. About my food swimming, in a pool whose filter was spoilt for 10 years.................. ha-ha funny uhhh......... yuck.
Had a free ride back wooohoooo! :)
Overall, I was a happy girl.
But well, actually I'm getting quite annoyed from all the teasing. I mean when it's obviously something else! -.-
I quite never knew how the army worked. Till I went into SAFTI yesterday. There's this entrance opposite Mass Comm building. Did an evening run there with Leewei and Wilson. About 600m into the entrance u'll reach SAFTI.
It was most fascinating. It was like a totally different world. So peaceful and quiet. We went by a training shack. And the main buildings. We wanted to go the parade square but they were just at that moment lowering flag. And so apparently we're suppose to be at attention if we're there. We went by the track and saw groups of guys marching and singing songs. And many more such scenes. It makes it all feel like some sort of movie. It suddenly struck me how sucky it can be. To be stuck there all day, doing things which you're told to do, not doing things you want to do.
And all of a sudden, we were back in NTU. It's really like two different worlds which I didn't knew existed so near to somewhere which I've been staying in for 2half years. It really really felt really strange.
And so I'm feeling so free cuz all the deadlines are over! Left 301 project submission, Jap oral and listening, AGO interview, guitar practical, and then the 3 exam papers. Okay it actually still has a lot.
And it seems like it's gonna rain! Shucks. There goes my ride urgh.
The weekend was really such a happy one.
There's swim training with the bi team later and quite a number of swim team ppl will be going down toooooo!
WHEEEeeeeeee happy :)
I think I don't quite like American shows. It's so lovey-dovey and all they do whole day is kiss.......... (No wonder I only watch ice age hahhahaa) I think I'll stick to korean and jap shows. Somehow those shows have a lot of thought behind it. Although quite cliche I could tell what happened haha.
Alright I actually have quite a lot of things to do!
oh if there's anything I learnt over the past 2 days of IVP, is that, guys gossip more than girls.
-.-
Ten months into 2009.
As of the last entry, it was swim training on monday, tuesday long hard run w dq, wed swim training, thurs X campus! (3rd! after this sweden national runner and sumiko) followed by a short nice swim, that's when the crap with the others kinda started. Friday was a nice really hardcore swim. Thanks many to Rod for taking times.
Saturday was NIKE human race 10km. Started about 51s from the front. And spent most of the time overtaking people. But still wasnt enough. Completed with my PB of 45.30, but gun time of 46.21. And the 3rd for Under 25 Cat came in 45.50 :( If only I started earlier eh. But I had access to the F1 lounge up there which was pretty cool and had some nice yummy breakfast :)
Sunday was rest day after running 52.5km in one week.
The following week was swimming week. With IVP weekend just over.
After seeing the NUS timing, I knew my 200m no hope alr, till on the day itself, Grace didn't turn up! So then, there was hope. And I beat my PB by 5s, felt good, and missed 2nd by 1s. My first (and last) IVP medal so I'm happy haha. After that the 100 breast and 100 free was quite crap. In terms of timings wise. Really unprepared. But what a long day with so many events. Today's 50 breast was crap too haha. But nice to swim in the FREEZING waters actually.
Had fun cheering for everybody, and basically crapping with everybody. Quite sad that all these fun started only during the last few weeks. We went NewYorkx2 to eat after this.
I feel really, such a sense of nostalgia already. Sitting here in my room on a nice nice nice Sunday evening. (How very very very rare) So peaceful and surreal. It's the last time swimming in these sort of things and well, it's been REALLYYyyyy fun while it lasted :) Never laughed SO hard for quite some time alr. I'm really gonna miss everybody really aLOT.
I wish I never had to grow up :(
I wish the sun isn't setting on this day, this very awesome weekend. Because, monday and tuesday is really dreadful.
For once, I really wish I don't have to move on.
On a last note,
Beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. Haha.
AND my sixth sense is really not bad!
