Training, school, training, school, training, school, training.
This, is the summary of my past 2 days.
Squinting in the pool due to UV reflections makes me sleeeepyyyyyy......
I hope you guys are having a good day, because mine hasn't been too good!
A million thoughts running through the head caused the drifting in and out of sleep from 11 till 1+am! Sleep wasn't too good with the body trying its best to generate some heat in the cold. And then the beep of the alarm appeared in my dreams and I refused to wake up.
Lack of sleep after a hard day? Not good! Off to school for aa304, brain saturation. Then to the pool we go for my longest mileage EVER. Back to hall to bathe and only got to eat lunch at 2pm. Boy................... J'ai tres faim! French for the next hour and a half.
The weather has been really good for the past weeks, especially during my swims! If not I'd have been close to having skin cancer by now, AND also turning into a permanent chocolate hello panda. Rainy rain rain today! BUT the sun is out smiling, shining in its full glory now, and I'm postponing the run to much later. It's HOT!
Vaseline for abrasions? Try........ SUNBLOCK! Oh yes, it worked hehe :) I could swim in peace!
Training these days have been more fun, because of interesting and different programmes! I like! Something new to try everytime! And oh, I asked Michel (Mr. National Swimmer) to stroke-correct me yesterday! Hehe :)
And yesterday, I got to fully understand the wise words of the Jambion "If you went on, it's a good mental excercise, but physically you are just wasting your own time. And then you end up more tired the next day. So training isn't so great the next day either...... You dig yourself a hole that takes 1 day, it's going to take you 10 to get out!"
(I copied paste bytheway)
So I decided enough was enough, 5.5hrs in a day is no joke. Hopefully, the unintentional carbo-loading of the day before was ALL BURNT!
As such, with the unfinished intervals, fartlek beckons......
Long days ahead oh yeah.........
Nothing much to look forward to but, A LOT OF THINGS TO DO!
