You have no idea what listening to Fiesta 04 songs does to me. Listening to Impressions since it appeared in this comp :) How do you describe that feeling in your heart of nostalgia and happy memories and fun times, but so LONG ago.
So on Thursday I was actually at school in the morn (ntu) to swim and there were alot of ppl there strangely. I met tian haha. Stayed there till pretty late, and by the time I reached home, almost time to go to tj! Met ttk for dinner opposite tj.
Prac was okay. It was self prac in recital room. So I just spent the time squeaking away on a million high notes, until I quite got a headache and my lip was pain. Thank goodness for ttk there to squeal away on high notes. You know, when he stops playing, there's SILENCE! wahaha. I didn't give up, and was like ALLTHEWAY marking tuition work and figuring out all the unanswered questions! Hard work paid off cuz I thought today's lesson was good! :)
Didn't go for swim today tho. Slept too late the night before, but went for run in evening. 6km slow one. At least muscles aren't so tight. Spent the day practising as and when can. It's been so long since I've been like so determined on a clarinet. And rightly so, cuz I've never seen so many high notes before. Squeaking away (I dunno why I keep squeaking!) and sCREECHING away. But I guess it's not so bad, cuz I asked my mom if it's very ear-piercing, she said: huh, I don't notice what u're playing. SO, if she doesn't even notice means it's not THAT bad RIGHT! (attempt at consolation)
It hurts. My lip, and thumb! Hope I can survive tmr's prac! PLEASE let's not play songs like count, or fascination, or pirates. Then at least my practise can be put to use. Aye not looking forward to trying american graf =X
I think I'm getting to like Saga Maligna! There's this part which sounds so primary school haha! The trumpets! Playing a happy tune!
Things are taking an interesting turn for hall stuffs. I decided let's not paint castles in the air and have too many hopes. They just equal to disappointments. I'm glad whatever happened did tho! Cuz I don't think I could've taken the disappointment if it happened now instead of last time. Let's just trust in God yeah, to open doors. Circumstances are SO beyond our control.
I think I'll never stop being a band-it at heart. Listening to all our songs! American graffiti XVI, Saga, Fourth, Jupiter! I think I'm starting to like them alot. And it makes me so happy! :) It's just the way the music gets to me, lifts twirls tugs! :)
OKAY! TIME TO SLEEP!
