I stayed in Lao Heritage Hotel on my 3rd night. I reached there really late at night, it was pretty freaky! This is my room. Rather small and plain but I was just staying here for about 6hrs of sleeping only. So no problems with that.

Except that a mozzie woke me up after 3hrs of sleep. It bit me all over my face! Which was the only part of myself uncovered. I saw it flying around! But couldn't manage to kill it. And so, I ended up, lowering the aircon, and then sleeping with the blanket over my head, save and snug, and that worked cuz I slept all the way till my alarm rang in the morning!
This is the entrance to my room door! Low head space.

I had to crawl through this thingy cuz I entered by the wrong door at night cuz I didn't dare walk to the other entrance cuz of all the stray barking dogs at night!

As expected, the lady boss of the hotel forgot about fetching me. And so, I woke up like the entire hotel ppl at unearthly hours so as to return the key and she brought me out to flag a tuktuk! Yay I got to sit one in the end! This is the view from my seat

And this is the tuktuk and the driver at the airport. It's really near! But rather ex actually. 50,000 kip.

Check in area

Two small cafes. These are the only eateries outside.

Views from outside the small little airport. Pretty cute and small and peaceful place.

My most trusty map which served me really well the entire trip! It became, so, crumpled!

You had to walk down something like that to get to the plane.

WALK down the stairs

TADAM! Out in the nice big blue open space. Really nice! I like how it's so open.

THE PLANE. Yes, propellers! It's really small! Only 15 rows of 2 on either side. And it was sooooo empty. There wasn't anybody beside me.

And then you walk up the little sheltered stairs.

And it's really true, what Marcus told me. The bottom cushion is meant to be your float. No life jackets!

Disembarking at Suvarnabhumi airport!

It's cool cuz you get to walk around the grounds of the airplanes! Like usually you can only see all the activity from behind the glass windows and you walk through that connecting thingy. (The one where Jiwen's roller bag makes ALOT of noise haha) And so there was a little shuttle bus to bring us from where the plane parked itself to the airport itself.
My view from inside the bus.

And it's cool cuz you get to see all the activity of loading planes and all up close! At ground level!

THe bus

My lunch! In Thailand, of course must eat Pad Thai! Haha

YUMMMYY watermelon juice with the pretty flower!

If u're ever in BKK airport, please try this ice cream shop! Really yummy! You can make your own combination but I bought a ready-made-combi. She took a brownie and mashed it together with chocolate ice cream and choc chips. TOPPED with chocolate sauce. Mymymy. It sure was GOOooooddddd :)

Oh, I met Crystal Bourvin (primary school friend) at BKK airport taking same flight back. Here's the plane at BKK!

And then, touchdown in SINGAPORE! Weather? Raining........ First time I disembarked from a plane via the ladder in singapore! But, we're at budget terminal!

First time there. And back in boring old Singapore, they didn't let me take pictures. Like dots.......... So here's one only outside. AND the thumbprint didnt work here. I caused quite a traffic jam oops!

Took the shuttle bus for the first time. It brings you back to Terminal 2.

And then I almost died in the VERY VERY crowded mrt home. I was soooooo tired. Really thankful to be back in the lift.

And then, home sweet home!

What a looonnnnngggg trip. I did so much walking on my two feet over the past few days. REALLYYYYYY tiring. But I had much fun! And it was all and adventure :)
