Yes it is wouldn't you agree?
Okay, maybe you wouldn't, because I have ONLY ELEVEN AUs (ie 11hrs of school per week) and you probably don't. AND I thought last sem was bad enough (14AUs!) Thank goodness for last semesters and NO FYPs! Hehehhee.
On Monday I met XinYi and Jervis to head to the most prestigious building in the CBD area - One Raffles Quay. My future workplace. No turning back? Haha. We submitted together. And then I went for lunch with YiLun and Matilda! (I like her name actually!) It's good to meet new people and get to know them. They're really nice :) Although I felt REALLY out of place, as in attire wise, inside the building...... ahhhheemmm........ It was really funny cuz we had some shared secret looks in the lift when we met a bunch of audit ppl going out to client's place. Phewwww thank goodness I'm not in audit haha!
In the evening, we had a good fartlek training. The company is always much appreciated! Short run but we ended real late cuz we started late. Waited for half hr for a friend's friend. I thought it was really inconsiderate of her to make the ENTIRE team wait though. BUT the training was really good I must say. Statics were pretty fun after that but it kinda dragged till real late. The pool was a much happening place cuz of IHG polo. But it was real good to see everyone again! All the fellow swimmers! Hall 3-ers (and Yiming's flying off!), Hall 2-ers (Desmond's back!), Shawn Lai (hahhaha he just makes me laugh)
I slept past 12 but woke up at 6+am, way before my alarm went off. I knew Hanjie was in my AA304 class from Edventure so I joined him but was pleasantly surprised to see his other friend is Mona! :) And the other 2 guys I more or less 'knew' them so it was good. Spoke to Priscilla, a friend I made at AGO interview. Well, AGO didn't get back to any of us hehhe so she's at PwC. Oh Hj and friends went PwC in the end too! We got our Clickers! And thank goodness I didn't have to present on Thursday hehe. *Phew. And I formed a case study group with Kristen and Swee Chin. Hmmmmmm. They kinda freak me out though. (I don't think I'd dare to raise any points during discussion!!) But after my first Audit class, am I thankful I'm not going into audit hehehhehe :)
I headed to the pool after that. Met TXR on the way. My pie please! Boy, was the pool CROWDED. So irritated with ppl swimming into my lane. After awhile, they got the message and moved hehe. Made a new friend called Sam! I like to be helpful :) Met Suyan, saw Eugene Zhuang (Mr legendary gpa 5.0), and MARCUS! So I had company for some of the sets. I think the pool's so crowded cuz it's the first week of the sem and IHG is coming up!
I was SO HAPPY to finish the sets cuz it meant LUNCHTIME. Was so hungry by then. Yu pian tang jia dan! YUUUmmmmmmm :)
It was to the doctor's then but since they only opened at 2pm, I went to get a chocolate muffin for the muffin man!
Thank goodness, no needle poking of any sort hahahhaha. It was just idunnohowtospellthat. So cream is all that's needed! Phewww.....
Back to hall back to hall with the aircon. And since it started pouring, biking and running plans were cancelled and instead I headed to Jiwen's house. The backdoor way to get there is really rather fast! We had yummy chicken rice for dinner while staring at the green and the blue and the white :)
I boarded 199 on the way back at Sheng Shiong and guess who I met! Marcus and Leewei (and Peggy)! And in the afternoon when I was going out I met Justin and Wei Chong on 199 too. And I met Candice on the shuttle bus while going back hall. Haha!
Thank goodness I managed to wake up later today.
Oh but I'm VERY HAPPY cuz my timetable is pretty nice now. Although it's turned into 5-day week, but it's just NOT the same if I'm not in the same class as Marilyn! So....... I AM HAPPY! It's so coincidental. Really thank GOD! Now, all the vacancies are back to ZERO! And I'm rather excited to be taking French! :)
Yes, it's back to school and I'm happy :)
And yes, score 2 out of 2 this week as of yesterday :) But whatever it turns out to be at the end of the week, I think I'll still be happy! Yes, everything's jolly now :)
