Firstly, HELLO to jie jie Ji Zhen! Hehe :) And a HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PAMWAM :)
My body alarm clock is pretty strange. I tend to wake up a coupla minutes before the time set on my alarm: which for today was 5.50am. Cuz it rained away last night, I peered out to check the ground and it was really pretty wet! REALLY didnt feel like riding on half-wet roads. (Plus it's west loop YUCK) Sky was clear tho save for a few random pink puffy clouds. BACK TO THE BED I went. Thank God I was LAZY, cuz it poured at 6.35am and has been raining since then. Really, WHERE did all the rain come from?!
So with my assignment in and no work left to do, I'm feeling FREE for once! :) :) :)
Yesterday! I did JR Changi ride for the first time since...... February! Pretty long ago yes... I think riding my bike has made me grow up in lots of ways! More conscious of my surroundings, more alert, more independent. AND I get to see REALLY interesting stuffs! A few weeks back I saw some birds (less than 10 I think) flying a V-formation, IN SINGAPORE! Somewhere along Mandai, nearer Upper Seletar Reservoir area!
On my Wednesday lone long ride (first in a longggg time!) I saw, this weird looking dark beige car! Strange colour. Weather was amazing! Pretty hot before I left but while out, the clouds covered the sun and the skies were sooooooooo BLUE! With wispy clouds. LOVELY! :) Along LCK, I looked up and was wondering why do I see colours in the sky!
Okay, this is taken by my hp camera. A little dark cuz it's aimed directly at the sun.
What I saw was surrounding the sun in a perfect circle was a patch of dark grey clouds. The clouds seemed VERY far away, like there's some storm going on up there. Then between the dark clouds and the blue sky was a rainbow ring. REALLY amazingly lovely.
The strange thing was, when I took off my shades, you can barely see the rainbow! It's like, putting on some magic glasses! As you can imagine, I was there for a bit. Too much staring at the sun gave me some sort of headache on my way back haHA :)

Yesterday, we went to TYR and got 2 pairs of cool goggles for $11.80! Yay. Taught the little kids. Church was somehow, very good I felt. We had communion and the biscuits changed to this round kiddy looking biscuits which were like 4 times the size of the normal one. Everybody seemed to chew for very long! It somehow looked VERY weird, kiddy biscuits in a serious looking communion plate!
FRIDAY was one uber retarded day. It started out with me getting the pump stuck to my bike wheels and having to have the most kind-hearted Jambion come to rescue me. All he did was turn and it came out though. Really unfair. I turned till my 2 fingers have BLISTERS. Hurts really bad :( Then the front D was cranky. BUT THANK YOU JIWEN cuz it was good and fine during yesterday's ride! :) So, after sweating all over in my cycling gear, I didn't ride in the end :( Then, my tendency to kick things in my path (knowing full well they are there) left me whacking 2 toes against the door. And this time was really bad cuz the BONES felt, sore. And it made my foot ache real bad for the rest of the day. It felt kinda sprained! Plus the fact that I was feeling bloated and bleeding. URGHHHHhhhhhh.
Oh not forgetting, Mr. Boyfriend's FAILED surprise attempt. HAHHAHAHAHHAA. I'm not laughing AT you my dear, I'm laughing WITH you! (I'm sure you laughed too didn't you!) If you wanna know what happened, go ask him! Hehe YOU make me smile :) <3
After RedBrickRoad, apple juice, banana nut muffins and chocolate buns, I had pasta for dinner (pictures another day!) and watched Sports@sg. Makes me wonder so much. About. Something.... Hmmmmm :)
THURSDAY I felt rather bad cuz I got my thing that morning and was too lazy to get myself all wet in the pool, plus I had to rush home on the bike. So I went to the pool to tell Mr Netherlands I can't swim! Felt bad cuz he came all the way to NTU from Kallang! But I'm pretty excited to try out the new Dutch-translated training programmes I'll be getting, EVERY WEEK! That's really nice of him! AND he gave me a hug! Oh my... I'm pretty sure I'll get to see him on TV at the Olympics next time! And then I can say: I once got a hug from THIS SWIMMER! Pretty cool yes pretty cool! But he was telling me how hard it is to get a slot at Olypmics cuz of their strange selection criteria....... But, still cool!
And so I cycled home via the fastest way 1hr earlier than planned cuz swim was cancelled. Thank God really cuz it rained afterward!! I really still am so amazed how God worked everything out way before hand! Like in the month of Jan/Feb I was feeling why life is so unfair cuz I got my thing like twice in 2-3 weeks? But because of that, it landed up exactly in the one week break of my 4 races and came the week my races ended! ISN'T IT AMAZING! :)
PHOTOSHOOT for Shape magazine. "We like our Shape girls to be simple".... Hmmmmm.... For the first time I had a makeup artist work on me! Pretty cool! Combed eyebrows and lashes? Mascara and eyebrow curlers used for the VERY first time. (Never to be used again voluntarily) So hard to remove! Poor lashes :( Jump shots! I think I don't make a good running "model"!! Interesting experience though! And I got 2 nice Nike shorts which I like! And some tops, though PINK. Oh.. Bright I will be! And a pair of shoes!
Then I had a DINNER DATE with Mr. Boyfriend at Marina Square's Pasta de Waraku! Filling!
WEDNESDAY was one looonnnggggg day! I did my morning ride (in the morning), and then was in school from 2pm all the way till 8.15pm! And then did a (very) slow nice x2 rounds jog with leewei for company! It's been eternity since I last ran with him! I've come a long way since the very first time I must say :)
