Is heading to the airport to get home now!
Funny how if you think about it, my plane from Toronto brought me closer and closer to Wennie across the ocean, and then further away again
Now, it's also funny how some things turned out the way they did!
Who would've thought in a million years! It apparently took 15...
It's also interesting how people are made so differently
And consequently different people are drawn to their own
Even a common topic or seeing them everyday doesn't bridge the silence
The contrast was so great between one that was so awkward and the other that had a happiness about
Funny how I've been back for a couple of days and it's like whatever I was doing in London is playing out here!
I'm hanging out on the computer and packing things up around and doing laundry and listening to music in the blue room which is almost like a basement room in its darkness anyway.
All on my own, since nobody is around hahaha.
So weird.
Anyway,
Another thing I like about Singapore is that the prices stated here are FINAL and inclusive of taxes. Makes life a whole lot easier eh.
Too many people though, too many.
I find everybody staring at me for some reason. Sis says it's just Singapore, but really?
And the shop aunties call me "miss" rather than "girl" now hehe!
And while I was in line for fish soup yesterday, this aunty started talking in chinese to the girl in front of me asking if this stall is nicer than the other one (uhhhhhhh............) and then she turned to me and immediately started in english. I wonder what made her do that!
